My PC sucks for gaming and getting a 360 instead of a PS3 made some sense in 2007. (you could argue now as well I guess but even the problems with PSN make me hate it less than Xbox Live and the types of idiots it attracts)

Omg. I found this today and it is <3 times a million.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFCKhUgIziU <- Turret Opera. I think this song is pretty dang amazing. Portal 2 did not disappoint me. I'll miss GLaDOS. I was sad when I finished the game. This song, in my opinion, outshines even "Want You Gone". I hope when the official soundtrack is released, a longer version of this track is on it.

"If the Earth is currently governed by a manner of animal king, sentient cloud, or other governing body that either refuses to or is incapable of listening to reason...." Lol!
Honestly, Portal 2 was so great. It was on par with Portal, if not better because it was longer. I absolutely adored the humor and I don't mind that it lacked something memetic since that'd just get annoying anyways lol. Chell has been released from the facility...I wonder what happens now?

Probably nothing, the end for the Portal saga. However it's legacy will continue with the next Half-Life release, seeing how they are in the same universe and there were many easters hinting at Black Mesa, plus the ship you can find in Portal 2 is the same ship from Half Life 2 episode 2.
TBH another portal game might be a bit too much, since Portal 2 was kind of the climatic ending for the Portal Universe, explaining Glados's personality and the background for Aperture Science.

I'd have to agree with you. Another game would ruin it. The ending of Portal was very final. For me, it was bittersweet because of that finality, although I did laugh when GLaDOS threw out the burnt (assuming original, even) companion cube. The Turret Opera summed up my feelings very nicely: "Oh my beloved, fare thee well!"

Well, now I'm playing devil's advocate - I might be wrong though, no one really expected a sequel for Portal 1, which originally was just really a tech demo rather than a game, made by some college students. There are still some interesting things to touch upon, such as ratman (the guy leaving all the pictures/murals). You can actually find out that he's on the moon apparently!
Also there is a somewhat mystery regarding Chell herself, and how she started in Aperture Science anyhow. During the potato science fair part of the game, that massive disgusting potato that grew out of control was made by a girl called Chell 0_o Plus there are some theories that there could be some connection between Chell, Glados, and Cave Johnson blood-wise.
as far as I know, from clues in the game (this is all second-hand coming from me because I never bothered finding/remembering it in the games), it's known that at the very least, Chell was at Aperture during Bring Your Daughter to Work Day (I don't think there's any doubt that the potato project was hers), which is when Glados went haywire. So, though she may not be Cave/Caroline's daughter, she's at the very least the daughter of someone at the company.
And I'm sure plenty of people were expecting a sequel to the game, given its massive popularity and the fact that it was basically just a tech demo. However, now that an actual full-fledged game's been released, and you've shot a portal gun at the moon (man how much faster did that portal have to travel than normal portals?), I'm not sure how else they can really make the game grander than 2 was so they probably should stop where it is now.
