I think she's a character in some popular fantasy book.
She gets impregnated by a ghost or something.
Don't believe the hype though, the story of that book is completely unbelievable.

maybe, but I mean plenty of stories end up retconning themselves, so that's not a big deal to me.

I suppose it has to happen when you keep changing writers. One introduces a plot point, the next one doesn't know about it, someone further down the line spots the gap but have to make something up since they don't know what it was either...
