The changing of votes reminds me of when I'm on Youtube videos. xD Anytime I see the comments like 'Awesome, no dislikes' or 'xxxxx disliked this' or even '### people need to be shot' I just can't help but think certain people see these comments and dislike just to spite them. I wouldn't, but I know that some others would.
Anyway, as somebody who voted Ran here, I think it be appropriate to quote here.

unbelievable!! why ran???!!!
Because she was listed as one of the people on the list. There are many characters on there. It's kind of why the poll was made: to see everybody's thoughts
she is a kind character and cool!!!
You are right. The reason? That's your opinion and you have every right to it, thus...you are right.
However, if I were to say that, my inner self would say 'You're wrong' because my opinion is that she is not cool. Not horrible or 'lame', but also not cool.
if gosho aoyama ever see this,he would be sad because his favorite chara after all is ran!!
The chances of Gosho seeing this are pretty slim and unless you're Gosho you can't really say his favorite is Ran. It's also been known that when asked/interviewed he's answered Conan.
AND WHY ALL HAIBARA FANS HATE RAN??? RAN SAVE HAIBARA'S LIFE ONCE!! RAN IS KIND TO HAIBARA SO I CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHY??!!!!
Not sure where this came from, but it's definitely not true. Asking 'why do all Haibara fans hate Ran' is about as fair as saying 'why do Canadians always say "eh"'. As a Canadian, the second question is complete and utter nonsense, just like the first. A majority (or vocal minority or even assumption) =/= all. Also, saving lives and being kind =/= having to like the character. There's much more to it than that. Some people actually don't like characters like that.
And if you're annoyed by Ran's personality, you can't blame her because she don't know nothing!!!
Hm, it's difficult to decide how to word this. I suppose I'll go with this:
Personality cannot vary inversely with situation. It is actions that do that. Personality is the attitude of a character, if you don't like that personality, there is no 'blame' to speak of. To not like a personality is to not like the way a person is. Situation, knowledge, even actions aren't directly related to personality.
There's also this fact: if Ran did know more than 'nothing'...what would change? Her personality, to quote you, was 'kind and cool'. Does this mean that if she knew more she'd change her attitude? If that happened...would she still be 'kind and cool'?
Not trying to sound mean, but just putting it out there to think about.
but she's trying to be strong even though she's not!!!
Even as someone who doesn't particularly like Ran, I think that 'trying to be strong' is 'strong' in its own sense.
AND IF RAN DISAPPER,CONAN'S LIFE WAS NOTHING!! ALL HIS LIFE ISDESERVE FOR RAN!!!
Okay. ...Um. What? If this were true, Ran would be in every, every single file. ...She's not though. Not to mention...totally dependency is kind of a bad thing. ...It's also OOC for Conan/Shinichi.
IF YOUR A TRUE DETECTIVE CONAN FAN..THEN YOU WOULD UNDERSTOOD ALL..

Here we go. To put this lightly: IMO the words 'true fan' should never be used. ...Ever. There is no such thing and at the very best those two words are the bottom rung of discussion and debates when it comes to defending a point. A tip my friend - if you use 'true fan' I can almost guarantee most people will not take you seriously. I usually do as the people that use those two words actually do have some good points/views (Ran is indeed kind and she did save Haibara, etc) but I'd advise against 'true fan'. Also, proper punctuation and grammar would help too.
You've got the right to your opinion, I don't think you should let people get the implication to simply skim over it.
ANYWAY

Gotta say that I'm surprised at the lack of tolerance to other people's opinions here. If it was a serious real life issue, I could get why, but here we are talking about a manga series and fictional characters.
Well, manga series and fictional characters are serious, serious business don't you know.
On the serious side...wait I actually don't know.

I guess it's just second nature for people to like to argue
