Shinichi+Ran or Conan+Ai?

When i said Ran's sad all the time, I was more referring to what's on the surface. Ai is a brooding character, we all know, but she remains reserved which means she has more internal fortitude than Ran

I don't the idea of a new character comin' along for Ai, but at the same judging by her past and her character progression I don't think romance is what she needs. I like the idea of Agasa becoming a father figure and Shinichi/Conan acting as a brother. The family relationship seems better for her

Don't forget Ran is still acting conan's sister  .

Don't forgot Conan doesn't really exist he's just a character made up by Shinichi to protect his cover. She may feel like a sister to Conan but at least in her mind it has nothing to do with her and Shinichi. It might mess with Shinichi's head a little bit, but even if that's true his repeated advances at Ran even despite his absence are proof that he's keeping his personas in line
