Rules

General rules
Spoiler:
- If you play in this game with more than one username, both usernames will be banned from this and all future Mafia games.  Since it is also against forum rules to have multiple accounts, at least one of the accounts will also be deleted.
-The only way to participated in these games is by two methods: IRC via Mibbit and via Web IRC. Dates and times of any rounds using these methods are posted here. The rounds that use these rules will be named Grawwfia Rounds instead of Mini-Mafia Rounds. Despite its name, Grawwfia occurs in the #minimafia channel and not #grawwfia, so don't be confused!
- Don't ask the GM for information about other players' roles or try to influence moderator tasks (e.g. ask them to not give certain hints).  It is frowned upon.
- You may not copy/quote/screenshot etc. the PM from the GM to prove your role to someone else. But you can claim to be a role, whether it's your real role or not.
- Whether or not you are alive or dead and unless you are PMing your votes and actions to the GM, PMing other players is strictly prohibited. In doing so you will be removed from the game. Don't ruin the spirit of the game.  When in doubt, refrain.
-Talking in the main chat during the night phase is strictly prohibited. If you are in a group, you are also prohibited from talking in your designated channel during the day phase.
-If your PM confuses the GM, the GM will smash it into a billion pieces.
Gameplay
Spoiler:
-Before the game begins the GM will PM you a nickname which you will use until either you are killed or the game ends. For instance if the GM gives you the nickname ‘Bob,' you would simply type in /nick Bob. You are free to switch your name back to your original one when you are announced dead.
- You have to PM the GM directly to vote/use your ability. Posting in the thread doesn't count. Multi-recipient PMs don’t count.
- If you are part of a group such as the BO or the DBs and are killed you are required to leave the desired channel pertaining to your group as to not give away information you have. Joining the dead channel is not required, however.
General Definitions
Spoiler:
Order of Actions
- You can always send in a new order, which will replace the old one.
- If multiple incompatible actions are submitted by a player, the last valid one before time is up is the one that will go through.
- The BO and the DBs have a rank system for giving orders.
-You cannot do your own abilities to yourself.

No kills rank higher than another’s.
Example:  Akonyl is Vodka, Abs. is Kyousuke, Jd- is Akai, Parkur is Ran.
Example A:
Akonyl) Kill Abs.
Abs.) Kill Parkur.
Jd-) Kill Akonyl.
Result: Akonyl kills Abs. Abs. kills Parkur. Jd- kills Akonyl.

Example B:
Akonyl) Role-block Abs. and kill Jd-.
Abs.) Kill Parkur
Jd-) Kill Abs.
Result: Akonyl kills Jd-, but is killed in the attempt to role-block Abs. Abs. still gets to kill Parkur, but will still be killed by Jd-.

In the case of the Driver switching roles with killing capabilities, then only the Driver’s kill occurs.
Example: Kleene is Anokata, Jd- is Yamamura Misao, Abs- is Hakuba, Miaka is Eisuke, Conia is Megure.
Example:
Kleene) Kill Miaka
Jd-) Drive Kleene and Hakuba
Abs-) Investigate Conia
Result: Kleene will be run over by Jd-. Abs- will investigate Miaka instead of Conia.

Town Drunk’s Drink > BO Bribe
Example: Akonyl is Vodka, Jd- is Kogorou, Miaka is Araide.
Example:
Akonyl) Role-block Jd- and kill Miaka.
Jd-) Role-block Akonyl.
Miaka) Heal Jd-.
Result: Akonyl does not get to role-block Jd- or kill Miaka. Jd- successfully role-blocks Akonyl. Miaka heals Jd-.

Protection only applies to one attack, and in the following order: Neutral Party, BO, Vigilante, Grandmother.
Example: Kleene is Anokata, Jd- is Ran, PT is Heiji, Lyndsi is Akai, Conia is Kyousuke.
Example:
Kleene) Kill PT.
Jd-) Protect PT
Lyndsi) kill PT.
Conia) Kill PT.
Result: Conia is killed attacking PT. Jd- dies protecting PT. Kleene successfully kills PT. Lyndsi’s shot is spared due to the already caused death.

Voting
- Everyone can vote during the Day Phase, whether you're Townsfolk, a BO member, or from the neutral party. The only exception is when you are dead.
-The person who has the most amount of votes by the end of the time given will be put to trial and defend themselves. After their defense the players decide in the main chat whether the accused is Innocent or Guilty.
-If the majority of players rule the accused innocent the accused will be pardoned; the same goes for if there is a tie between the innocent and guilty votes. If the majority rules guilty the accused will by lynched and his role will be revealed. Whether or not the accused is pardoned or executed, the votes to lynch people will be shown.

Hints, Last Will
- There can be various hints given out by the GM. This can contain true and false hints. It can be about whether the BO or Vigilante killed a person or if nobody was killed. There can be hints with the PMing of actions too.
- Every player can PM a "Will" to the GM. This Will is to be shown in case you're killed.

Condition
All players start the game "alive" (normal). However, their condition might worsen during the course of the game...

Alive: An alive player may use any of his/her abilities according to the rules. They can talk freely and participate in the lynch-voting.
Blackmailed: A blackmailed player will be prevented from talking in the main chat during the day; however, they still receive any results from the previous night phase. The blackmailed player can participate in voting a person to the stands and can only speak when being put to the stand; however they may not participate with the Town Verdict.
Doused: A doused player will be notified that their house smells of gasoline. They will continue to be doused during the duration of the game until either the arsonist or any other role with killing capabilities has killed them.
Role-Blocked: A role-blocked player’s actions failed to happen. The player will not get their results or their actions failed.
Injured: An injured player’s results will not be given to them on the night they were attacked. They will, however, learn whether their attacker was from the BO, a Serial Killer, or the Vigilante. Injured players can still talk freely and participate in the lynch voting. They can use their abilities the next night.
Dead: That player was killed during the game. They can no longer participate in this round; however they will still win the game together with their side. Dead players will be asked to join the dead channel, but are not required to enter.  You can freely talk to other dead players there at your own discretion. You can leave the channel at the end of the game.

Leadership
Black Organization
The BO has a Leader. It's Anokata. The Leader has the ultimate right to choose a Night kill target and will give the order. No one can overwrite the Leader’s order. Other players can also give out orders, in case the Leader does not. The priority of the orders will be decided by the BO ranking.  But the Leader can overwrite that order if he or she returns.
If Anokata is not present in a game (or was killed) the BO will choose a Leader. They can either go for the ranking according to the role list (BO leader, Investigator, Role-blocker ...) or they vote for their own ranking; otherwise the GM will randomly choose a ranking.
The Detective Boys
In case of the Detective Boys, the Leader is Ayumi. The Leader has the ultimate right to choose who to recruit during the night and who will do the recruiting. If for some reason the Leader does not give an order for recruiting, the other player(s) can give out the order; however the Leader’s order ultimately overwrites that order.

Other
Each Black Org. member must commit a successful murder before any mafia member gets a second turn to kill.
The BO is allowed to and is expected to consult with each other on who to kill during the night.  You may all vote to lynch different players if you wish.

The following roles are considered visiting roles:
BO: Godfather (if the player is the one doing the killing for that night phase), Driver, Consigliore, Framer, Briber, Blackmailer
Town: Investigator, Police, Vigilante, Aide, Bodyguard, Town Drunk, The Detective Boys (if they are recruiting), Driver
Neutral: Serial Killer, Arsonist

sounds like it came outta some propaganda poster or something :P

anyway, regarding a few things:
-The nicknames used to encourage anonymity, perhaps force the player to leave the chatroom before changing their name so that everyone doesn't have a nice little "Akonyl is now known as Beedrill" reminder at the top of the chat to let them know who's who?
- You mention the no-PMing rule, but unless I'm missing it, you forgot the "no talking during the night" rule.
- You mentioned in the chat the other night about perhaps giving the DBs Identify so that you could "have that ability in the game", but from looking at it this ability already exists on Shinichi/Heiji/Vermouth, because every single role-group has a completely unique set of investigated information, and there's no point to knowing who someone is beyond the fact that they're Megure/Satou/Takagi. Not really a grievance, but more just something I'm curious about.
- Does SK win with the town or not?

-I discussed this earlier with Jd- and Abs. The most resourceful player will check the IP or host of a person to see who they really are. In short, the nicknames are really there at the insistence of the "beta testers" of the prototype Grawwfia, so to say.
-Fixed.
-I decided against the DB having Identify for that reason. I still haven't thought of what sort of ability they will have yet, but in the case that I do it will be implemented in the official second round of Grawwfia.
-The SK wins for himself.

it's through IRC, and if it's like the previous rounds, you go to #minimafia, not #grawwfia (it uses the same channel the other games do)
