The only thing I really dont like about this series is they make everyone seem so stupid to make Victorique seem smarter. This latest episode really shows it.
The Manga and the light novels are suppose to not do this nearly as much.

I started reading the manga first, and it's very interesting
After I started watching the anime, but I kind of got impatient with the beginning so I stopped
and today I decided to rewatch it, fell in love with the opening and ending song and the anime itself
But you're amazing when you smile

the light novels do not rush the cases, the anime only cares about the charcters and their problems. which is why the third anime case adapts the 250+page novel in 3 episodes, like like the 190+ page first book (case one)

Well then, I'll be looking forward to reading the light novels since I have found the site a month ago but haven't had the time to really read into it.

Episode 1 was okay for me but episode 2 gets so much better! I think you should watch until episode 3 to make your final decision.
weird thing is the anime combines the light novel and manga order. because the novels are not in chronological order, but the manga is for the most part. that creates problems especially when it rushs through it SO FAST.
Victorique was so creepy looking as a young child. She really looked like an old fashioned-doll. And I feel sad for her, especially when Grevil said such a cruel thing to her. I mean, it isn't her fault that she never experienced 'love' up until now. (with Kujo, her teacher, and such.) I really felt like Grevil still didn't want to interact with her because he felt bad about how he didn't even acknowledge her.
Anyways, next episode looks cool, and it looks like Victorique is going to Japan with Kujo. <3 Her outfit looked adorable.
