I've been meaning to ask, what exactly is the KaiShin Army? Is it a group of KaiShin shippers or KaiShin fanfic writers?

Both. It's sort of a loose social group of KaiShin shippers, most of whom are writers, which is sort of led by the incredible writers White Mage Koorii and Dragon-sama. In Sama's "Chatty Plunnies" series, of little oneshots and drabbles based on IM conversations with fellow shippers, she referred to us as the "KaiShin Army" and the name stuck. There's even a theme song.

@mangaluva: I totally fangirled over that!  it surprised me though, especially since all the hype was about the KaiRan, supposedly and then there's so much more KaiCon in there!  >.> I even asked my parents for a movie 14 poster for christmas and they got me TWO.  I squealed for, like, ten minutes.

@Endless-chan: (again overdue) it's kinda funny, really, I've always been a bit of a yaoi fan...though i started all the way back with Yu-Gi-Oh! when a friend of mine dragged me into it, but I started this fandom with a HeiShin mind rather than KaiShin...and look now, I'm writing about six KaiShin and only one HeiShin somewhere in the back of my computer.  They're still works in progress, though.

Yeah, actually.  I'm good friends with her and she's an aspiring writer ^.^  Kyoukatsu is a fic she's been working on for a while, and I'm glad you like it too.  She has something like 40 or so pages of it, I think (lost count ages ago) and we decided it was better if she posted slowly.  I'm really looking forward to my next bout of editing, but maybe you should check out her Christmas fic.  She just got it up, but it was rather extra-cute.  If you did know her personally, I'd ask who you were, but I'm sure she'll be really pleased to hear you love the story.
