Just to note, Black Coffee (Hercule Poirot) is a play. There is a novelization of it by Charles Osborne, which is not very spectacular, I should say.
He also novelized two more plays by Christie. Namely, Spider Web and The Unexpected Guest. I haven't read those yet, so I can't really comment on them.

Personally, I think Spider Web is okay, The Unexpected Guest is also quite good, only Black Coffee is not particularly "exciting" as I'd hope, some part bored me *shot*.

In conclusion, for me, "The Unexpected Guest" is better among the three  ^_^

Due to you being generally awesomes and providing the Holmes and Christie stories in an orderly manner, someone from the community suggested Community Hero status--and it has been granted. :-*

I dunno if I should say who, since it's kind of a mystery an' all that. Given the circumstances, it could make these forums 5% more mysterious. But, if you're still looking by the end of the week, mayhaps I shall reveal it. :-X

You bet. Black Coffee was almost a play, and the novelization was so cheesy. I didn't particularly like the dialogue. I will get to the unexpected guest in due time.
