couldn't that effectively be the same as telling someone about something they failed to realize? Sure they can't take the move back, but if you say "xxx would have been a better move" because of a space that the player didn't notice was open, they now know it's in danger and could thus take care of it next turn.Callid wrote: @ sstimson:
No, because I might have failed to realize that, for example, f2 is under attack, and so you might have helped me. However, for example, suggesting that 3. c3 might have been better is alright, because I can't go back anyway.

Re: Chess Game 7: Callid - Xcommando
Going back to here for a comment, since the moment is long pass
A better move then Queen Knight to Queen knight Five
would be Queen takes Black King Pawn ( QxP ) or ( Qxe4)
this move wins a pawn
and then the postion is this

if Q-e2 then QxQ, NxQ but still a pawn up
if BxQ then the Queen Pawn can be taken by the Queen Knight
NxQ is the only way to stop NxP(d4)
If B-K2 QxP(g2) wining the rook and then going up 2 pawns and a rook
Edit since picture was missing the Bishop ( Since his move did not have an x)
