How is it better? I'd assume Black Ops has newer features. Better maps/newer maps?
Different guns maybe? Sorry, kind of new to the whole COD obsessions.

Hard to explain but basically they've turned it into a stupid Michael Bay film and everything in the story was cool but really dumb and the basic gameplay is no longer as fun.

Play the Orange Box. Other FPSs aren't really necessary.

5 games in one. One which is considered one of the greatest games of all time by some (myself included), 2 of which are episodic sequels to that, one being an innovative puzzle-like take on FPSs and one being considered the king of class-based multiplayer shooters. For the price of one game.

Oh... :P Well, I doubt they would make 5 COD games in one, for the price of one COD game.
I'll research some FPS games. I love 'em. I played a MMOFPS game and it was great.

Until hackers took over, and messed up ranks...
I think I'll check of COD, Orange Box and a few others mentioned here.

I don't know what Half Life, Half Life 2 or Team Fortress 2 is. I think I know what Portal is. XD

eh?  Do you work at gamestop or something similar?
Nah, Argos, but our branch's videogames section is pretty major. Mainly because there is NOTHING else for kids to do in our town.
Eh, kids don't really have a whole lot to do except play video games :P

I'm unfamiliar with Argos *shrugs
Argos is a really major retail chain (although I don't know if it exists out of the UK...)

It's not really a small town, it's just that there are no clubs or cinemas in town, and they even closed down the only playground that wasn't on the grounds of one of the primary schools recently because a car park's being built right next to it and they don't want kids playing around all of the building machinery. (Though really, they should have left the park open; now all of the kids have nothing better to do and are far more likely to get bored enough to sneak into the building site -_-)

Probably some of the best games ever.  Though some of my friends think it's too scary (they usually just watch me play >>).

2nd that they are great FPS games :)

PS: Portal is one of the greatest puzzle games ever if you don't like it, it is because you have not played it yet.

lol at this conversation.  I'd just say just go get black ops, its the newest one there, but I think Cod4 and MW2 are better in my opinion.

I would recommend Orange box over all of them, but not for the 360, and it looks like you want a game with a multiplayer experience: HL2 is a single player only game and TF2 on the 360 is not good.

I guess I should post what I'm looking for :P

- FPS
- Multiplayer Online Gaming
- Has ranks. (Ranking boards)
- Many maps.
- Does not have players that can hack. (I'm a bit loose on this one, because most games can be hacked in some way...)

All games can be and are hacked by somebody. You mean one that isn't frequently hacked?
