after a certain round *coughyourroundwhereIwasranandloverswithcommicough*, we realized that lovey-dovey can be a bit ridiculous in certain situations and thus its effectiveness was reduced.

yeah, me too XD, btw, that lovey-dovey change is really stupid XD..... makes no sense, but people are simply saying "if you were targeted as a lover, then you should basically be unprotected for the next two phases, have fun dying :V"

@ Akonyl, then they should have just decided on the sniping rule, instead of the lovey dovey rule :V. One or the other, not both :V

The attacker won't know if it was lovey-dovey, as long as they didn't use a sniper.
The problem was, that a BO/BO pair could heal themselves on the lynching day over and over.
And town/town could heal themselves on night over and over too D:

Maybe there should be a rule for lovey -dovey concerning lynching like "ONLY successfully protected from lynching that it can't be use until 2 phases later"
Since this type of protecting sucks if you're town . Town on the other hand  you don't know which one will be killed before hand, it's a 50/50 chance. not to mention, if you implement the sniper killed the protector rule, then the Akonyl-commi case wouldn't be repeated...just a thought. Since I've realized, and also xpon have realized that, as town, if BO targeted you with a sniper, :V, and failed, they can easily killed you the next night XD. And by "you" I mean me :V
