The Samaritan Role
The Samaritan role is very straightforward. Simply put: All you must do is choose one user to exempt from the game. This role was assigned to you as a result of the outcome of Proposition #1.
You, xpon, have now assumed the Samaritan role. This is a permanent role, meaning you are no longer eligible for future roles that will come up in the contest.
This is known as a prestige role. In other words, your name will be announced alongside your decision.
THE SAMARITAN'S RULES (assuming no penalties)
- You now have the opportunity to save one fellow participant from the game.
- Your decision will be tied to the decision of an opposing role to follow in Proposition #13, meaning the price remains unknown.
- If you do not wish to choose a user, you do not have to. Should you not make a decision by the deadline, no user will be exempt from the game and Proposition #13 will proceed but with fewer available options.
- Any user that has posted in the official topic is eligible to be exempt from the game.
- The user you choose to be exempt from the game will be unable to return to the game assuming the proposition passes Proposition #13. There will be no future proposition that returns them to the game if it is successful.

Proposition #13 (December 20th-21st, 2010) — COMPLETE
Brief: The Volunteer was the first secret role assigned, dating back to the very first proposition.
Proposition: The Volunteer has been given the opportunity to reprise their role, but under different circumstances.
The Volunteer Role
You were the first participant to take on a role in the first proposition, and will now be involved in one of the last.
You are set to reprise your role as the Volunteer. This is a permanent role, meaning you are no longer eligible for future roles that will come up in the contest.
This is still considered a secret role. Your identity will not be revealed.
THE VOLUNTEER'S RULES (assuming no penalties)
- In Proposition #12, participant xpon was chosen to assume the role of Samaritan as a result of receiving the most tokens in the first proposition from you. In that role he was able to choose one user to be exempt from the game. That user was Conia.
- You once again have the opportunity to award xpon tokens, but this time in order to buy your freedom from the game.
- Should you wish to leave the game, you may do so by rewarding xpon with +100 tokens. Should you choose to accept this proposition, you will no longer be considered a participant in the game and xpon will become the frontrunner to be drawn.
- Should you choose not to award xpon +100 tokens, no action will be taken and you will remain a participant in the game.
- If you do not make a decision by the deadline, the "inaction option" will be taken. xpon will receive no further tokens, and you will remain a participant in the game.
Results: In Proposition #1, the Volunteer allocated a pool of tokens to 19 of their fellow users. The user that received the most tokens in that proposition was xpon. xpon elected to see user Conia exempt from the game in Proposition #12.
Now, the Volunteer had the opportunity to award xpon tokens (though this time with 100 of them) in order to buy their own freedom from the game.

Brief: This secret role involves a reprisal but a secret one.
Proposition: As a result of a previous role, another player is now given the opportunity to leave the game.
The _______ Role
You now have the opportunity to reprise the _______ role, and again secretly but under differing terms. Your role will not be announced in the actual results to prevent others from piecing together your identity should your decision be a controversial one.
You have now re-assumed the _______ role. This is a permanent role, meaning you are no longer eligible for future roles that will come up in the contest.
This is known as a secret role. Your identity will not be revealed to the public.
THE _______'S RULES (assuming no penalties)
- As the _______, like with other roles, you had a decision to make that affected other users. Now you have the opportunity to do that again, but this time in order to allow you to exit the game.
- There are no strings attached to this proposition. All you must do to leave the game is personally choose two users to receive +100 tokens.
- You do not have to choose anyone. If you would prefer inaction, that is also an option.
- There is no penalty for not deciding by the deadline. The "inaction" option will be taken and no users will be rewarded with tokens and you will remain a user in the game.
- If you do choose two users and exempt yourself from the game, you will not be eligible for its prize or be able to return at any point.
