Proposition #10 (December 17th-18th, 2010) — COMPLETE

Brief: As Proposition #4 was waiting to be repeated, Proposition #10 was carried out.

Proposition: Two users were awarded +20 tokens in Propositions #6 and #7. One can now have that amount reduced.

The Advocate Role

The Advocate's role is to extend the results of Proposition #7. In that proposition, two users--hopelessidiot and Shin101--were awarded a further +10 tokens, bringing them to +20 from #6 and #7 combined.

Someone has now been drawn to assume the Advocate role. This is a permanent role, meaning they are no longer eligible for future roles that will come up in the contest.

This is known as a secret role. In other words, your name will not be announced to the public immediately (and neither will the full results) and it is -HIGHLY- recommended you do not mention to anyone that you have been chosen.

THE ADVOCATE'S RULES (assuming no penalties)
- hopelessidiot and Shin101 were awarded +20 tokens as a result of Propositions #6 and #7.
- You now have the opportunity to save one user with one of two choices.
- OPTION 1: Opt to have one of the two users chosen randomly to be reduced to 1 token, while the remaining user receives +10 tokens.
- OPTION 2: Opt to have one of the two users chosen randomly to be reduced to 1 token, while you take on +15 tokens.
- Your taking on of tokens, should you choose Option 2, will not be revealed in the announcement of the results.
- If a decision is not made by the deadline, a default penalty will be assessed. You will receive +5 tokens, while the two users at the center of this proposition will receive +10 and no user will see their tokens reduced.

Results: The Advocate has chosen to accept the proposition and has chosen...

Proposition #11 (December 18th-19th, 2010) — COMPLETE

Brief: Proposition #9 had the Community voting on the proposition they would like to see repeated as Proposition #11. Proposition #4 was the proposition that received the most votes.

Proposition: The two users previously assigned the roles of X and Y have re-assumed those roles. The stakes this time will be greater.

The X Role

The X Role is responsible for designating eight targets for the Y role. Y's identity will remain confidential. Unlike the last time, the amount of users that will receive a positive outcome and the amount that will meet a negative end will be determined directly by Y.

The user previously responsible for playing the X role has re-assumed it for this proposition.

This is known as a secret role and is also a blind partner role. In other words, your name will not be announced to the public immediately (and neither will the full results) and it is -HIGHLY- recommended you do not mention to anyone that you have been chosen. Your partner's identity will again remain blind to you and it will be the same for them where you, X, are concerned.

X'S RULES (assuming no penalties)
- Your responsibility as X is naming eight targets. You may name yourself as a target but do so aware you may be responsible for meeting a negative outcome.
- The eight targets must be those that have posted in the official or unofficial topics minus the overseer.
- The amount of users that receive positive and negative outcomes will be determined by Y.
- If you do not make a decision by the deadline, a default penalty will be assessed. The eight targets will be chosen randomly, but you will receive a +10 token penalty.
- You will have a partner in this proposition, though their identity will not be known to you. You will be again cooperating by proxy with this partner, who will be known as Y.

The Y Role

The Y role is responsible for making a decision regarding certain choices made by the X role. X's identity will remain confidential. X has chosen eight targets. You will decide the nature of the overall prize package for the selected users.

The user previously responsible for playing the Y role has re-assumed it for this proposition.

This is known as a secret role and is also a blind partner role. In other words, your name will not be announced to the public immediately (and neither will the full results) and it is -HIGHLY- recommended you do not mention to anyone that you have been chosen. Your partner's identity will remain blind to you and it will be the same for them where you, Y, are concerned.

Y'S RULES (assuming no penalties)
- As Y, once again you have the opportunity to choose between a selection of packages that will affect the eight targets. This time, the amount of packages has been increased to three:
Package A: Two randomly selected users from X's selections are exempt from the game. Two further users are awarded +50 tokens, while the remaining users all receive +10 tokens.
Package B: One randomly selected user from X's selection will be exempt from the game. One further user is awarded +25 tokens, while the remaining users all receive +5 tokens.
Package C: Reduce the tokens of the remaining user from Proposition #10 (Shin101) to 1 while increasing the amount of tokens of all other users on the list by +3.
- You may be a user on the list. The list itself will not be revealed to you as you make your decision.
- If you do not make a decision by the deadline, a default penalty will be assessed. The prize package will be chosen randomly, but you will receive a +5 token penalty while four of the eight users on the list will receive an additional +10 tokens.
- You will have a partner in this proposition, though their identity will not be known to you. You will be cooperating by proxy with this partner, who will be known as X.

Results: The users in the X and Y roles have accepted the proposition.
