The education "videos" aren't actually animated if I'm thinking of them right. They were just little things with an image of Conan, Genta, Ayumi, and Mitsuhiko popping up on the screen and pointing out, "Hey, you know that 2+2 is 4?" while Genta is like, "That means if I have two rice buns and two more rice buns it's four rice buns!"

They may or may not have even been voiced. In fact, I think these aren't videos but learning software.

It wouldn't surprise me in the least if that is what the content for each video is. Also wouldn't surprise me if they weren't voiced, to be honest, or if they were voiced by someone completely different.

However, I am 100% positive that they were VHS videos, and not learning software.

Ep 398 and 399 are done by anfs too, I hope for resubbing by better quality fansubbers. Well, I mean anfs is as crappy as XCHKS.

IIRC Hari-no-Ito aren't anywhere near as bad as anfs. The video quality's crap, but the translations don't look all that bad. I'm going from memory, though, so don't take my word for it...

I'm currently missing three episodes, 281, 428, and 433... slight chance I could have missed an episode, but I won't know till i've viewed from beginning to end.

On an extra note, You're staff rocks along with the rest of the subbers out there.  Thank you all very much and keep up the most excellent work.  Now off to watch 50 some odd episodes!!!!

For some early episodes, which are the best?  107-109 are done by Hari-no-Ito and Atavus (I thought there was even a third group which did 107 but I can't find it).  110-114 are done by Detective Conan Files and Atavus/MCT.

Also, does anyone know about something which says on its title screen "nazo no suisei kaijuu o oe" (the mysterious comet/repel the giant monster)?  I asked about it before but it seems nobody could identify it.  It contains the Detective Boys and some live action--could it be one of those educational videos?
