Proposition #4 (December 8th-10th, 2010) — COMPLETE
Brief: This proposition offers the introduction of Partner Propositions.
Proposition: Two roles were assigned in this proposition: X and Y. The X role has been responsible for choosing a list of eight targets, while Y has been responsible for choosing the nature of their prize package.
The X Role
The X Role is responsible for designating eight targets for the Y role. Y's identity will remain confidential. Seven of the eight targets will be given a positive prize (as in, less tokens), while one--chosen randomly from the eight--will receive a negative prize (as in, more tokens).
Someone has been drawn to assume the X role. This is a permanent role, meaning they are no longer eligible for future roles that will come up in the contest.
This is known as a secret role and is also a blind partner role. In other words, your name will not be announced to the public immediately (and neither will the full results) and it is -HIGHLY- recommended you do not mention to anyone that you have been chosen. Your partner's identity will remain blind to you and it will be the same for them where you, X, are concerned.
X'S RULES (assuming no penalties)
- Your responsibility as X is naming eight targets. You may name yourself as a target but do so aware you may be responsible for meeting the negative outcome.
- The eight targets must be those that have posted in the official or unofficial topics minus the overseer.
- Seven of the eight targets will meet with a positive end in the proposition. The sole player to receive the negative end will be chosen at random.
- If you do not make a decision by the deadline, a default penalty will be assessed. The eight targets will be chosen randomly, but you will receive a +5 token penalty while the user that eventually meets the negative end will receive +10 in addition to their other tokens.
- You will have a partner in this proposition, though their identity will not be known to you. You will be cooperating by proxy with this partner, who will be known as Y.

- Seven of the eight targets will meet with a positive end in the proposition. The sole player to receive the negative end will be chosen at random from the list made by X.
- If you do not make a decision by the deadline, a default penalty will be assessed. The prize package will be chosen randomly, but you will receive a +5 token penalty while the user that eventually meets the negative end will receive +10 in addition to their other tokens.
