Ai is wearing Red because Eve is half Chinese, it's snowing because it's New Year's Eve, She's holding a white bag because that's all the sadness Eve has collected this year, and she's looking up at the snow falling down because she's wondering if Eve should throw them again, or keep them for the memories. And the darkened surrounding lit up by the white snow can be either the pieces of Eve's broken feelings, or a promise of little happiness that will build up in Eve's life for the New Year.
