Shockingly enough, no helicopters. :O At least from what I can recall.

I agree that the murders have gotten less bloody, unfotunately. But I think some of them are still significant. I'm thinking about these two murders in the Clash of Red and black arc where there was little blood but where the culprit basically tortured her victims psychologically. Also, remember the guy who just burned to death in the Fuurinkazan case and the victims who were starved to death (Red Wall, Ikkaku); all those are pretty traumatising ways to die. Though I still do wish that the beheadings, the swords in the neck and the massacred bodies would come back.
