I've currently only seen 2 of the Endless Eight and I hope the first 10 minutes of the next episode is mostly the same. Because that would be hilarious.

What gets me is that they somehow stretched one chapter of the novel into 5+ episodes.  It's ridiculous.

I wouldn't be surprised if one is actually a rerun (which would reconfirm that this is the best anime ever that isn't Conan)

Nope, all the Endless Eight episodes are "new" in the sense that a different art team does it.  The angles are usually different, they wear different clothes, etc.  The third Endless Eight is the worst one so far, as it feels exactly like the second one but with inferior art, inferior dialogue, and inferior clothing choices.

that's stupid, they could easily just reuse the first 10 minutes of Endless Eight episode 2 (which is now it's own series at this rate). Considering this is the same anime that spent minutes (like 4? 5?) just using the same animation of Yuki reading a book, it's funny how they basically have the same thing happen in every episode, yet it needs to look different. XD

Endless Eight IV aired on July 10th according to Wiki. According to Youtube, the episode was uploaded on July 9th.

I personally like this Endless Eight arc, although I suppose not everyone can appreciate looking for all of the differences between the episodes (for example: Kyon was REALLY LOUD throughout Endless Eight III). Although, I'm assuming the reason Endless Eight has been this long has to do with Haruhi making the same mistake as a lot of anime and rushing through the stories of the first season too quickly (in other words, they might not have as many stories to use for the anime as last time, especially since there hasn't been a light novel made for two years)

I'd say it's worth watching.  It's miles better than Endless Eight III, since it at least has a different atmosphere.

I skimmed through the wiki descriptions of the novels (I should buy them someday). From what I've seen, they really don't need to do any more Endless Eights after the next one and they wouldn't get to the latest novel in terms of story. Hell, if they do a "Kyon explains what really happened" thing for the 2nd novel I could see them not even getting to the eighth novel in the anime. But again, I only skimmed through the wiki descriptions of the novels.

I skimmed through the actual chapter, and it never actually loops.  You come in, see the fun, and then in that initial story it's revealed to already have looped 15,497 times.  And then Kyon figures out the solution and it ends.

Odds are, with the way things are going, the only other story we're going to get from this season is "Sigh", ie: the making of that horrible movie.
