It really doesn't matter how I take it. You gelatinous parasites will still go against me. This is because I am an honest man and you can't comprehend that. I'm not some hypocrite like Shawn Michaels, John Cena, Edge, Ricky Steamboat or Bob Barker! I beat the Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin in the same night to become the first ever Undisputed Champion and I am the best in the world at what I do. Do you understand...what I am saying to you...right now?

Listened to the pocast ep 4 long time ago, but was too lazy to come up with a comment
...
I loved it, you guys were amusing
. It's a light hearted and very cheery. You trio were the best
! It's nice to hear about your favorite characters
. I had enjoyed it though.
None of you mentioned Haibara, Conan, Ran, Kogoro, etc. one of your favorites, Nande
?
Well, not much to say since it's... a light-hearted one
! Ohohoho
!
By the way, why couldn't I find the thingies in the Studio section
?
PS. I wanted to point out that CarpetCrawler didn't mention the Megasa thingy. But it seems that Akai-kun had made it first
.

I won't lie, this makes me a bit nervous. Heh. Heh.Detective Kaoko wrote:Haha, I believe this is our first meeting (like if).

Just kidding, of course. That's leaps and bounds above what most would be able to say, so

Don't worry about slider, he's used to the abuse.Detective Kaoko wrote: Oh, no... it's kinda awkward for me to receive all these cheers... I felt sorry for Slider, since he is the old member and I am just a newbie. (To Slider:)

there's a very specific reason for that... skye and I agreed that it and the other inside joke(s) are annoying and have no place in our podcast... however, I did suggest that we could come up with our own inside jokes...Detective Kaoko wrote: PS. Random observations.
162 discussion cracked me up, for multiple reasons.
I don't think the movie being a thriller was that much of a change of pace. Movie 1 after all was a thriller with no mystery (and a good one, unlike 14). The problem with the "thriller" aspect of this one is that organized group terrorism is one of those things doesn't actually exist in the DC world, so it was clear from the start the whole scary disease thing was a misdirect in some way, shape, or form.
Also, I have complained about this plenty of times, but I disagree with Movie 11 being used as the benchmark for awfulness. It was terrible, but at least it was vaguely fun, unlike 10, which both mindless and joyless (I also think 7 was worse, but I don't think anyone at all agrees with me there).
Much agreed with kkslider (!)- the blimp theme was insanely annoying.

"The energies of our system will decay; the glory of the sun will be dimmed, and the earth, tideless and inert, will no longer tolerate the race which has for a moment disturbed its solitude. Man will go down into the pit, and all his thoughts will perish. The uneasy consciousness, which in this obscure corner has for a brief space broken the contented silence of the universe, will be at rest. Matter will know itself no longer. 'Imperishable monuments' and 'immortal deeds,' death itself, and love stronger than death, will be as though they had never been."

It's interesting to hear everyone's voices. I love the special guests (well, so far just guest), too.
And I really learned a lot about you guys even after listening for only 5 minutes. Like, kkslider, I only listened to you say like 2 or 3 lines, but you sounded like a nice, rational person. skyechan and Southpaw seem humble, and CarpetCrawler sounded like a DCTP forum member.

Episode 6 is now out, folks. Download it now~!
Also, our next episode will be a special mailbag edition!! Send us a Detective Conan-related question you'd like to see us take a stab at, and maybe we'll answer it in the podcast! Send me a PM with your question, if you have one. I hope to hear from some folks over this. I figured we could try doing this at some point, and I feel like now is a very good time.

Re: Detective Conan World's "Detective Conan Podcast" *Episode 6 now available*
Talking about people losing interest in Conan is the complete opposite of what I see. I rewatch certain episodes (mainly major plot twist episodes) and there are a surprising number of people who had just gotten to those episodes for the first time recently and commented on it and there are even a couple I've personally got into the series. And trust me, there is no way most of the people permanently stopped watching it. It's a long running shonen and the people watching it will still watch it. It's kind of a rule or something. And if they did stop but stayed during the Eisuke arc in general they are complete idiots anyway.
But I will say at this point I think this series will be so much more watchable when it is finished as you can watch it from beginning to end at your own pace instead of "once a week at best" pace.
"Because they wanted to drag it out in the anime"
by using 3-4 chapter cases into a single episode and cutting stuff out. Right.
"If I miss one episode randomly in the middle I lose all interest I had in the series"
I have the same problem.
"274, 275" *kills self*
"great great case" *cries*
