It is the weird stories thread not the lame flirting thread, perhaps you should get one or move on to PMs.

Was informed earlier that more people vote in the X Factor than UK elections. Was also informed that there is a Monster Raving Loony party running for election for the past few years. I know which I'm voting for.

Third week in a row that someone mistook me for a foreigner exactly on sunday. I seriously don't understand what's wrong with the people here since well yeah, I am kinda a foreigner..............or at least I might have been if it was not for the fact that I came to this country 16 years ago.

They say I have an accent. Either 10 people are crazy, or I have an accent and I'm not aware of it. But how the hell can I have an accent? I find it very unlikely that I have a german accent since that would mean I have an accent left from 16 years ago, and then I was three, so I really don't see how you can develop such a strong accent at that time which will stay for so long. I don't know, maybe I'm speaking too much english (and I do so without israeli accent), so something might have caught on to me.

Two friends of mine apparently think that driving around in the Vice Pres's motorcade is more important than getting trashed the night before.

I haven't lived in the USA for 14 years and people still tell me I have a strong accent. It just seems to stick, the accent you pick up in early childhood.

Does your mother speak Hebrew with a German accent or a regional accent?
We don't make mistakes. We have happy accidents.

Do the people know that you are from Germany? I know that sometimes when I say I am half Danish people are all like "Yeah, I could hear that" and when I say I have never spoken Danish in my whole life and barely heard it spoken it is always an awkward silence. Know-it-alls are weird...
