Re: What's in a name?
Mine came from a RL nickname I acquired at work.

Re: What's in a name?
Is there reason for them calling you a communist and ninja?
We don't make mistakes. We have happy accidents.

Re: What's in a name?
Well ProfParanoia is a take-off of my dad's username or something or something. I came up with this on the spot from one site and used it on DCTV a while back. I kept it for this site but used (a) different name(s) for other sites, usually those are about the same thing with each other (but very different from PP).

Re: What's in a name?
@Dus: Communist has something to do with her not liking steak, and the ninja part is just because she snuck up on one too many people. XD And iirc the nickname was actually longer than that originally, but that's the part that stuck.
My username takes a little bit to explain to exact reasoning behind, so I'll do it later when I have more time.

Obvious name choice is obvious.

Re: What's in a name?
Yeah, the whole nickname is just too long to use, so Commi-Ninja it is! And it flows better, too.
Communist: I was talking to one of my supervisors, and somehow we got on the subject of steak. I said "I don't like steak." and he said "Communist!", so that's where that came from...
Ninja: That's my secret.

Re: What's in a name?
My username came from Shinichi?
Wrong.
Shin is short for Shinatsuki,a name given to me by my otaku bestfriend. I also like the number 101 so I put it there (there's another story behind it).

As to my name: It doesn't mean anything. :V

Re: What's in a name?
There is a thread like this already.
Anyway, Kor is basically the way you say "cold" in hebrew (קור), but.............this has nothing to do with this. It's just a name of a character I had created for one of my novels (funny thing though, I didn't introduce this character yet and I just transfer this character from one novel to the other, because at the end, I find that I don't really need this character because aside from flavoring, this character doesn't really have a reason aside from the fact that I want him to be there............which is probably the reason why I always decide against inserting him into anything)
