Like the borders and the lighting all in itself is OK. The text is alright, but could be fixed up. And personally, I don't like the text on the top left corner with your username. Just my personal opinion, though.

For the signature, the text is better, but probably a bit too big. Usually, a designer would want to make the viewer focus on the pictures, not the text itself. But in this case, the banner is drawing you to the right side, where the text is, and thus making the left side a bit 'useless'. Also, the center looks a bit chopped off, as if it was actually TWO pictures, not one. I do love the effects in the banner though.
