END OF DAY 2
The townspeople gathered around the gallows early, some still drinking. There was no need to draw lots again, because it had come to everyone in the night: Commi-Ninja was the villain! It made total sense!
The town swarmed around Commi-Ninja, who didn't seem too upset. "You guys are insane," she said, picking up a half-full beer and draining it. "But if you really want to lynch me--"
"That's not all I want to do,"
Akonyl (Takagi) said, wiping his mouth. "After you're dead, I'm arresting Paix for killing PT last night!"
Paix (Shinichi) gave a noise of protest.
"That doesn't even make sense," Commi said with a tipsy giggle. "Why are you lynching me if you think Paix did it? Let's--"
"Don't do it, Takagi-kun," said
xpon (Shiratori) gravely, resting a hand on Akonyl's shoulder to steady himself. "You'll just get suspended like I did. How can I face my Kobayashi-san now?" He wandered off, crying.
"Like I said," Commi repeated, opening another beer, "we should wait and--"
She was interrupted by the noise of a jet engine. It landed in the middle of the square and
Conia (Hakuba) stepped off. "I'm a little early," he said cheerfully. "But I didn't want to miss--are you
all drunk?"
Suddenly, the clouds parted. The townsfolk strained to see through the grayish light that now shone in their midst. To the town's horror, the unholy spectre of Gin slowly formed and pointed a gun at Commi-Ninja.
"You couldn't even handle this assignment for me?" he asked scornfully. "Well, I guess this one just wasn't meant to be. But they're not going to take you alive." He pulled the trigger. The bullet hit
Commi-Ninja (Akemi), who slowly began to turn gray and blurry.
"Ah, well," she shrugged. "You can't win 'em all." Gin and Akemi faded into nothing, and the townsfolk were left to wonder whether the whole thing had been a mass hallucination...
TOWN WINS
Lynch:
Commi Ninja (3): Akonyl, xpon, Paix
Akonyl (1): Commi
...Wow. That was over quick. I wanted to write a good ending, but my internet also stopped working again too, so it's just as well.

Sorry about that...I'm not at home and apparently this internet isn't great.
But congrats, town.
