Not all people have other options. I used paint for a long time and it worked, poorly =/

Not all people have other options. I used paint for a long time and it worked, poorly =/

There is GIMP. It's free. I don't know if it has layers, but it has more features. I just have been too lazy to bother.

but that might be because I prefer using Gimp on Mac

MSpaint has its place in pixel-level art though imo. When I'm doing graphical stuff I oftentimes do the original in paint and then move over to something more complicated for the details.

well it wont matter if you have the skills right?
Because in creating a great Painting, what matter most is not the Brush but the Painter it self.

So no matter what Design Program that you used, if you have the skil to do it, it will be good.
