Amagami SS

Anyone watching this show? I am not one for straight Romance shows but there is just enough Comedy in it to make me keep my interest but there is enough drama to keep it moving. Also since its broken up in 4 episode arcs then a Reset with a different girl and a different feel to the eps it doesn't drag on like other shows.

so far its been
Morishima Haruka who is the kind of wierd and very impulsive.


Tanamachi Kaoru who is the old friend prone to punching and kinky stuff (earned the nickname of Sex hair due to her hairstyle)


Nakata Sae who is absurdly shy (this arc takes a more Comedic turn with the introduction of a narrator who likes to make fun of the situation ala Ookami-san) the last ep of her arc is next

Ai Nanasaki: episodes 13-16 (light blue in below pic)
Rihoko Sakurai: episodes 17-20 (yellow)
Tsukasa Ayatsuji: episodes 21-24 (purple)
Risa: DVD only arc (she is Yandere)


Animation wise its pretty insane all the characters look great and no one has the so-called "anime perfect" hair style some of them are unkempt which is a really nice change

Yes, I'm watching this anime. A really unique one since they have an arc for each girl.

It makes me really mad that they edited the end of Kaoru's arc they cut out the epilogue because the start of her arc raised so many complaints on how riding on the back of a bike without a helmet was very unsafe would of made a nice bookend story.

I have heard that its going to be added back in for the dvds.

I'm really excited for Ai and the Class Rep's arc. And who's that yandere girl? Has she been shown in the current anime?

Remember how at the very start of her arc she had Junichi give her a ride home on the bike?

That got some people mad the final scene of her best ending is suppose to be her standing on the back of his bike with her hands on his shoulders having fun.

I have not played the game (it is not in english) so I dont have much info on her besides she is Yandere and a Stalker. Which is better than the other unaired arc which I think isn't even getting made which involves his sister, some of those scenes got folded into Sae's arc. (which isn't her best path its a lesser arc but that's probably the reason why they went with it though besides the Lutz).

So that was supposed to be the ending for her?

That yandere/stalker girl looks interesting indeed. Since I'm not playing the game as well since I can't, I'm pretty excited about that.

Does Junichi's sister, Miya, going to have her own part in the anime? I love that loli sister of his.

Agreed.  Her arc was pretty horrible overall other than some nice outfits.  Hopefully Ai's arc is amazing.  She's the one I've been looking forward to the most, and then the class president at the end sounds like she'll be a great story too.

So... now a BIG complaint. I heart that Miya is none of the girls Junichi is dating. After Haruka I was bored and hoped there will be a Miya-Arc, but it don't look like this.

...Miya's his little sister.  This series is based in reality, not fantasy.

But it would be the first time japanese mangakas/directors would take care of something like this. Besides I like Miya.
