I found a Drowzee and a Butterfree. Can't remember any more.

On my original Silver game, I had a shiny Pidgey. And, of course, the Red Gyarados. I think the only other one I've run into is the Wingull I accidentally ran away from.

The Red Gyarados is the most obvious example; who DIDN'T catch that? My brother has better luck with shinies than I do, though. In his original Silver game, when he went to catch Lugia, he got a SHINY Lugia. Lucky bugger.

Not as bad as running into one in the Safari Zone.  You aren't sure what to do there.  Luckily, the Natu I found there was nice and let me catch it, but it was still like "Crap... why can't I use my Breloom!?"

As for my shinies:
1) Scizor (original silver, can't transfer)
2) Blastoise (original silver, can't transfer)
3) Gengar
4) Xatu
5) Tentacool
6) Linoone
7) Azelf (traded for)
8) Gyarados (obviously)
9) Pidgey
10) Primeape (Modest Nature)

... GODDAMN INTERNAL BATTERY'S RUN DRY!
Has this happened to anyone else? When I tried to play my Gold game recently, it had lost my old game and couldn't save a new one. The same thing happened with my brother's Silver. When I emailed tech support at Nintendo they said that the internal battery in gameboy games often ran out after about a decade. Which explains why my Tetris doesn't save my high scores. I've been too frightened to touch my Blue and Yellow games because of it.

My Silver did lose all my save suddenly :(...
And I'm in the same situation: I don't want to touch my Red. I'm keeping it in a drawer, it will never see the light again 8)

The most shinies I have found were in the Gold/Silver games, I found a Pidgey, Weedle, Caterpie, even I got a Totodile starter that was shiny. Found once a shiny Geodude in Sapphire, but never found any shinies in the 4th generation.

Some people know how to clone.  Example: while I can't clone Pokemon, I can clone items.

My first shiny a Surskit. My next shiny that I caught at 3 am in the morning, a Geodude, that I almost killed cause it freaked me out it was gold. Training when you should be asleep is bad. :X

Mafia: The only place where you can find Gin and Akai married together with 8 kids all disguised as Akai. Or something epic like that.
