Good music related anime

well, i'm looking for a good music related anime.

i think they are all really good, so i'll give any recomendation a shot.
i've read a lot of manga too, but since this is music, the anime is much better

Try listening to Saint Seiya music, there are really good OSTs.

For example Pegasus Fantasy, Blue Dream, Ikki´s Theme, Death Trip Serenade, Bell of Angelus, Mime´s Requiem, Chikyugi, etc.


Butter-Fly and Brave Heart from Digimon are also cool ones.

Macross Dude, Macross!!, any Macross song from any movie or series are great, the new one has been a total success in Japan and all the singles and O.S.T Have made it to the top 3, check Macross F (Frontier) in youtube you'll love the songs.

Guys... I think you missed what he meant... I think he means Anime that is centered around music (the OST is DIRECTLY related to the show)

Nana = young singers journey to fame, though its just as much about love as music...
Beck = band's journey (you should read the manga)
kaikan phrase = centered around band leader

Thank you for the ost recommendation, but as kyuuketsuki  said, i'm looking for a music-centered anime.
i just finished "La corda d'oro" (another classical music related) and it's pretty good.
i don't know if there are more anime like this, but i started watching skip beat and i liked it. it's very funny. so thank you, blurfbreg, for that recommendation.

its basicly about these 4 girls who join a "Light Music" club. its being done by the same people who did Haruhi and Lucky Star so there is a bunch of Moe in it but the music elements of it seem really good.

(btw watch Haruhi ep 12 "Live Alive" great music ep and might be the greatest anime music performance)

Beck...I enjoyed it, but I enjoy the English dub version more then the original.

This show reminds me of Azumanga Daioh and Beck mixed together in one series xD. I can't believe I just started watching it today, and it's almost the end of summer vacation too >_<.
