Well, maybe it's the BO in me speaking ::) but adding Hidemi really isn't a good idea for now, unless we can add roles to BO side also... I mean with the ratio of town against Bo, the advantage for being BO is establishing contacts with town, though not used as often as it should, with Hidemi in the game.... that would somehow hindered it...:P I think.....
What I'm saying:
Add a town role with such power, then you have to add a BO role with power to even it out :P

Detect: Get's to know that Okiya used Detect (and maybe which role was checked too, but without getting a result)
Abduct: Knows that Irish abducted someone (not who tho)
Spy: Knows that Irish used Spy (and maybe what players were spied on, not what role was found)
Discombobulate: Knows that Vodka discombobulated on that night (not knowing who the target was)
Steal: Knows that Akemi stole from someone (not who and what item was stolen)
Black Suitcase: I prefer not to get her to know if someone use black suitcase and what action it was. SO no info on Black Suitcase

With Betrayal she get's to know 1 BO role. This can repeat, so she could get to know that Gin in in the game on night 1 and night 2 (since it's random what result Kir gets). She would also know if Gin slandered or not etc. Also helpful, but not too powerful. And she would know what role killed on what night. So, if Gin dies and she knows gin killed someone on night 1, she knows that the police doesn't have to try to arrest someone for the night 1 killing.
And special investigate. Although people don't like to have more investigate, I think with betrayal, it's a good combination for Kir. She can just use on ability at night, not both. Also, I have another ability idea, which I will write about later in this post ;p
And James Black is the only with special investigate atm. So, he's likely to be found out and get's Aptxed, since just haing 1 investigate is hard to hide from people. With Kir also having it, it would help James Black a bit to hide from the BO too.

@contact:
I like that idea. I thought about adding it too in my Kir version. Only doubt I have are, that she can ally with the FBI. And James Black aslo has special investigate, which could make a powerful alliance with betrayal and 2x special investigate. Or any other alliance too. But it can always fail, and the chance of getting a good ally is also not 100%
And I would make it so, that she can also contact Vermouth/KID in case he/she's disguised as one of the roles.

- Vermouth cannot arrest people for blamed actions.

About Megure. So he loses arrest? I thought someone said he still has arrest. But he can only use EITHER arrest or house search per night? I'm okay with him losing arrest. Just asking.

So does Kir know the # of BO, or no?

With this one, no.  With Kleene's, yes, under the status of NOC.

Not sure which I look. Kleene's version does look powerful. But Akonyl's Eagle Eye looks useless.
ESPECIALLY if the BO Serial Killer is added. Snipers don't have to kill...

Why Satou? It's Takagi and Chiba. Satou didn't do a stake out, did she?

I think it's fine being two males. Observe is already a decent ability due to the fact that it can detect small children (who are 100% safe), and this also helps in the case that Vermouth is an Observer and knows someone can stake out.

for Kogoro vs Pisco, it would require pisco to be in the game anyway, and to know that the person is the family member too.

That is true about kogoro though, he's pretty useless until he's sober. I would suggest perhaps to make him have only a 1/3 or 1/4 chance to get the wrong answer, rather than a completely random thing.

as to Kleene's Kir, oh right. I just copied the first Kir I saw, I thought that was the last one. :V

I do like hers though.

As for megure, the idea was to just make him only be able to get auto-arrests via house search, and no normal arrests at all. House search is powerful enough as-is imo, if someone is a known BO member (or was interrogated as BO), you can effectively arrest them without even needing to know who they were.

It was mine.  Well, sort of.  I think Abs. changed it to snipers only, but I don't remember, and I'm too tired to look back to double-check.

Why Satou? It's Takagi and Chiba. Satou didn't do a stake out, did she?
That one case where she kissed Takagi comes to mind...  Something about the axe murderer, I think?

Oh, who suggested eagle eye? I say we get rid of that and go with Kleene's version.

About Megure.
So basically.

He gets 3 investigations, and House Search (3 per game OR unlimited and consequences of losing his abilities).

If I have to vote, which I think should be how Hidemi's role will be decide on, I'm voting for Akonyl's version ,his makes more sense.... :P

Kleen's version is too powerful :-\ it would ruin the game :P

Actually it isn't.
She gets one contact. Maybe it can't be James Black. Since James Black would be too powerful...
Then she gets to know one BO action per night. That's it.

If knowing the # of roles is too much, that can be taken out.

but what investigate key-word to check the Stake-Out?

ex:
xpon : conan
abs is takagi
and conia is gin

abs decide to stake-out conia and xpon want to prove abs

what pm must xpon send :
xpon investigate if abs Stake-Out conia? or
xpon investigate if abs investigate  conia?

i hope investigating is the correct answer.. so it can help to blend the police and not expose them to APTX

I still like stake-out being takagi/chiba, not *every* ability with multiple people has to be split M/F imo

As to kleene's being too powerful, I don't really see it as wholly powerful imo. And it's random, so who knows, the GM could fudge it to being the more useless info if he really wanted to. :P

Really, I think I'd need to see it in action before drawing a conclusion.

you investigate "Akonyl stakes out Kleene", just like you investigate any other action. I don't see any reason for it to be camouflaged, after all, the people with the "observe" role used to be investigators, and you investigate them with "Parkur observed Sherlock3". And the thing about APTX is part of the reason I'm making them both males in the first place.
