Hotch gets surprised by the Reaper in the last episode of season 4, with the quote going "Sometimes the day just....ends." It's after the border-spanning case with the pig farm that ended so disastrously. I remember Reid saying "I get the feeling this case isn't going to end well..." about halfway through the first episode.

Yes, that episode. The pig thing was disgusting! He was experimenting his brother's brain on different people. Scary!

(its b/c of money issues or something like that, so they're cutting her character)
as for Prentiss, is was said they were going to get rid of her, but as for right now, it's still undecided but i think her character isn't going to be around as much

I know i love both J.J and Prentiss, besides Prentiss is so much better then Elle, i hated Elle, its going to be sad to not have them on the show anymore, it just wont be the same,
plus i heard Garcia will also star on the spinoff of Criminal Minds(Don't remember what its Called)
but she's not leaving Criminal Minds no worries there

Prentiss, she's smart and all. But she's not as interesting.
