Gankutsuou episode 19.  Had me shaking and holding back sobs for nearly an hour.  Best portrayal of a person confronting sheer terror I have ever seen.

Hmm, i'm not that easy to cry, i aways hold it, anyway...

Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien it's the sadder anime that i have seen, but i didn't cry, i already spoke the reason why =-P

And there's 2 scenes in Yu Yu Hakusho that makes me feel very very sad, when kuwabara pretends to die for yusuke manage to win Toguro and when yusuke dies as well in the cave, in order to make his friends get angry of Sensui.

There's others sad animes i have seen but didn't cry, like Kanon 2006 and Saikano for instance, that's it  :)

Elfen Leid all the way. That was the saddest ending I had ever seen.

I still have yet to finish Berserk, but I heard the ending was... forty five minutes of shock. o-o

Lets see here, I've come very close on a bunch.  Like deep inside I was depressed, sad and crying, but physically it was close..

1. Bokura Ga Ita
2. The Girl Who Leapt Through Time
3. FMA (same one everyone talks about, when Hews died)
4. Inuysaha (because it had no ending.. j/k j/k, it was pretty sad towards the end.)
5. Sky Girls
6. Shakugan No Shana
7. Parts of Love Hina were teary but you get over it quick
8. Tsukuyomi Moonphase, parts were sad through it.

There's a few others that I've seen but I can't remember what they were called because I only streamed them due to lack of torrents, one about a boy who meets a girl in the hospital and turns out she doesn't have a huge time to live because of weak arteries going to her heart, short series, but was sad. :(

I'm also watching a few that I've heard is sad, like Air, I'm still not done with it, but from what I hear its pretty sad, then there is one called Toradora, which is good, but I get one of those feelings it might turn out sad.

I don't really like watching sad things because they move me a lot, but the two that made me cry were Grave of the Firefly (by a long shot) and Kekkaishi (when Masamori returned Gen's sister's letters)  :(

Ok I didn't cry watching these, but I was really touched.

Detective Conan
- The episode Gingko-colored first love. Aww, why did Fusae have to lie about Billy being her husband? She should have asked about Agasa's "family" first before assuming that Conan & co. are his grandchildren. :-\

Fullmetal Alchemist
- When the child of the mad scientist died. I think her name was Nina (?)

X (by CLAMP)
- A bunch of episodes in the series. This is a really dramatic (and maybe angsty) series.
My favorite scenes:
1. Kakyo finally reached Hokuto's hand. (OMG, he died too! :'( )
2. Beast ended up killing Satsuki when she tried to help Yuto. What a tragic end for Yuto and Satsuki (damn you Beast! >:().
3. The battle between Karen and Nataku (I like the manga version of scene more).

Code Geass R2
- Although the whole 2nd season wasn't that great, the last episode was epic.

Bleach
- When Renji begged Ichigo to save Rukia (episode 32).

Naruto
- The flashback episodes of the characters (especially Gaara's past).

Ouran High School Host Club
- Every last scene with the twins (episodes 5, 20, 21).

Neon Genesis Evangelion
- (Episode 23) Rei II's death

xxxHOLiC
- My favorite scene is not actually from the anime, but from the manga. It was Watanuki's birthday, and Yuuko arranged a party for him. Everyone gave him a present except Yuuko.

(fast forward)
Watanuki: Yuuko-san is celebrating well-enough, I see. Well, that makes me glad too.
Yuuko w/sad face(sort of): That's right. That's all I can give you.

Poor Yuuko. She can't give anything that does not involve any exchange to the people she cares for.

Cowboy Bebop
- The girls (Faye & Ed) leaving the bebop family (episode 24). The background music playing definitely adds more emotions to this scene. Cheers to Yoko Kanno! ;D
- When Faye tried to stop Spike from confronting Vicious (episode 26).

-EDIT-
KaitouKudo wrote: cowboy bebop almost got me, the episode when Ed is leaving and the last episode, i blame the music

Man greatest music ever, not so much in the last episode though.
Same here friends, same here....

Tears is not the right word. There was a anime I watched when I was really feeling down that helped. It showed how only one person can change the world. That very moving anime movie was Escaflowne.

There were many times, when I cried like a baby while watching anime.  :'(

Bokura ga Ita ending - ok, what was THAT supposed to be? where is happy ending? >_>
Digimon Frontier ending - just because the ending was so sad in some way ... like everyone just went on with their lives and they never saw each other again. or at least this is, how I saw it. anyway it made me cry a lot. and Koichi's death ... *crying*

Fruits Basket - do I even need to explain?
Detective Conan - I cried many many many times. (I'm veeery emotional person, I admit) for last time in movie 8.  :'(
Romeo × Juliet - yeah.
Card Captor Sakura (last episode) - this was an absolute tearjerker. although I knew, that this wasn't real ending and that everything continues in movie 2 ...
Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children -  :'(
Naruto
Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne - episodes 37-39 and many others ...

I'll edit this post, when I remember some other animes, that brought tears in my eyes. oh, of course, there were many doramas, that made me cry ... (I'm REALLY oversensitive.)

Haha, I know right.  I was so shocked at the last two eps of that series.  It does go on, but not enough to make a second season.  Basically enough to make two eps that would ruin the story, and aggravate you.  =/

So IMO it was a decent ending for what it would of been if they kept going..  Left your mind wide open to what there fate would be.

Is it necessary to have a reason? The reason why people kill each other, we don't even know. Then, how can we find the reason why people help each other? - Edogawa Conan

Fullmetal Alchemist - Episode 25 - Hughes Death =/
Actually Most of FMA Episodes as well.

Dragon Ball When That Indian Kid's Dad died, and revivied again. Dragon Ball was practically the most I cried cause I got a soft spot for the anime.

and Rurouni Kenshin OVA, I forgot which Number.
