Basically, the one she had when she was introduced was just fine.

Gosh I really don't like this somewhat new hair color (almsot the same as Conan's shirt !) but I guess it's due to the fact that the animators seem to use flashy colors excessively.  :P

I do have a problem with her ever changing hair color, I'd rather it was a little darker.... the lighter it gets, the easier to spot her, Gin would have spotted her from miles away with that hair

The really red/orange colors her hair gets are my least favorite. The brown and like brown almost blonde stuff I like.

"Chapatsu Onna" was how she was described, and Chapatsu is "tea like, brown haired color" so I really don't see the point of animators making her hair into.... light brunette's....

I prefer the translation auburn. I think that's what it was originally intended to be.
When Asians dye their hair brown, it usually turns out slightly reddish --> basically auburn. Obviously this is Haibara's natural hair color but I assume the reference is correct. (茶髪 ã€
