I was trying to think of a way to make Kir's abilities more active rather than passive.

Btw, please note that she does not "instantly get a BO" - she only knows the name of the role, not the player.

gotcha. In the case of a role-knowing, it's not nearly as powerful and thus I have no problem with it.

The way it was worded made it sorta sound like "oh look, Akonyl sniped random person A, and I get the result! Lynch Akonyl! Woo!", but that might just be me.

Ok, so from what I gathered from last night is that Kir is going to have no pre-game knowledge of the BO with Contact and then we have a choice between Watch, SOS, and Eagle Eye (still looking for a better name for that, BTW).  

*Watch
Role with that action: Kir/Hidemi
-Kir chooses 3 players to Watch over each Night.
-If one of the three players is killed during the night, Kir learns the identity of the killer's character.
-Kir cannot get the result of a Sniped murder.

Vs.

*SOS
Role with that action: Kir/Hidemi
-When Kir is killed, one random Town member is given a note containing a clue to the identity of the killer.
-If Vermouth is disguised as a Town member, she MAY receive the note.
-Sometimes if the Town member deciphers the clue on the first attempt ONLY (by PMing the GM), an Auto-Report will be sent to a random officer.

Vs.

*Eagle Eye
Role with that action: Kir/Hidemi
-Whenever a sniping takes place, Kir recieves a note telling her the identity of the character who sniped the victim.

Which should we go for?

Hmm well my intent was for Kir to specifically have sniper-related knowledge.

Say:

Night 1: Chianti snipes Akonyl
Night 4: Chianti snipes mangaluva
In which case, Kir would be able to perhaps confirm that the people in jail are BO due to the whole "everyone must successfully kill once before someone gets a second turn at killing" thing
Or, if Night 4: Korn snipes mangaluva
Then Kir would know that both snipers are in the game.

Ok, make that three choices: SOS, Watch, or Eagle Eye.  Also, just one question: the second time around, does everyone need to kill again before your third turn or can one person become a killing machine at that point?

that's fine, though I'm not sure how sniper knowledge fits kir that much. As said earlier, my only problem with it is I thought it gave away the player.

for killing:
all BO able to kill must have as close as possible kill-amounts. So, no killing machines.

Alright.  We should probably wait for more people's input, but it seems to be pretty decided (personally, I would have chosen Watch, but that's just me).

* Kir, Undercover Agent
Prep. Action: Contact
Death Action: SOS
Interrogation: "BO"
Scent: No
Disguise:  No
Items: Gun, Panties, Car Keys, Headgear, Alcohol

*Contact
Role with this Action: Kir/Hidemi
- In the Prep Phase, Kir selects 8 players.  If one player is FBI, Shinichi/Conan, or Eisuke, Kir makes contact with ONLY one of them (chosen at random).
- Both Kir and the Contact know the other's identity.
Example: Kir (Detective Tommy), Akai (PhoenixTears), Jodie (Edogawa), Shinichi (xpon), Pisco (pofa), & Sonoko (Akonyl)
Detective Tommy Contacts PhoenixTears, Edogawa, xpon, pofa, and Akonyl
Result: Detective Tommy randomly Contacts either PhoenixTears or Edogawa

*Eagle Eye
Role with that action: Kir/Hidemi

Well given that all three times she did BO-related thingies, she worked with snipers I don't think it's that far a stretch.

What were the three times?  I remember the politician (when she was still an undercover reporter) and Scar Akai, but what was the third?

Oh, I just considered the politician as one, not two incidents.  Now that I see that, you're right, it's not very far of a stretch to have Eagle Eye.

True, and I thought of the politician in the park also, but I'm not sure being around snipers is quite enough to make the ability make sense (imo), considering she was never going against the snipers in any of the cases really. But, *shrug*

Well, she'd know where the snipers are, so it'd might be a tiny stretch to say that she'd see who it was.
