If we go with the "she can PM hints to people at night", if she picks a BO member she has to go into hiding and can't lynch vote, etc the next day or night

in other words, give her a 100% BO detector along with knowledge of the roles?

OK. Maybe she has "Observe" night action like the FBI, but if a BO member does something to her at night (slander, discombob, investigation that gets a true result, etc) she goes into hiding. (If we're going to include that ability I think a townie and a BO should have it.)

Or Night 1 for her could be similar to Irish, in that she or the GM picks a BO role and she gets sent a list of players, one of which is that role. (Some of the others might be BO, too, just not that role.)

Why would leaking info be considered a crime?  If she's leaking info about the BO, then I would see that as a job well done, not a crime.

If she PM's the GM one PM to post on the thread, why doesn't she just post it on the thread herself?
Because after that - her role becomes useless, and she can't find any alliances...

Hey, does anyone think that Kir should have a definite contact with the FBI?  Like as a prep phase (somewhat based off of pofa's suggestion):

*Contact
Role with this Action: Kir/Hidemi
- In the Prep Phase, Kir selects 5 non-BO players.  If one player is FBI (Camel, Jodie, Akai, or James Black), Kir makes contact with ONLY one of them (chosen at random).
- Both Kir and the Contact know the other's identity.
Example: Kir (Detective Tommy), Akai (PhoenixTears), Jodie (Edogawa), Shinichi (xpon), Pisco (pofa), & Sonoko (Akonyl)
Detective Tommy Contacts PhoenixTears, Edogawa, xpon, pofa, and Akonyl
Result: Detective Tommy randomly Contacts either PhoenixTears or Edogawa

What do you think?  Too powerful?

It's not too powerful IMO. But will she have a day/night action? If not - she seems weak.

Hmm...  It's hard to come up with these Actions. I'll try to come up with something.  By the way, which Action of the two I've made looks better: SOS or Contact?

Something I've been thinking about for a couple rounds now: I think we need another way for townies to get arrested. We only have Kid and Eisuke that can be arrested, and the town is pretty strong as it is, so maybe borrow one of the BO abilities, attach it to a townie (like Kir, for example, though I don't know which ability), and that gives the BO another townie role to hide behind in case they're arrested.

Just a thought.

slander: why would a townie want to hinder the truth?
killing: loles
erasing: yet again, hiding the truth of what happened is bad for the town
frightening: this one could actually maybe be useful, but only if the town knows who the BO are already (at which point it'd be better to just lynch em probably)

and then, giving the town unique arrestable abilities really does little for the game because nobody except vermouth-cop would bother arresting the townies for them, the only thing it'd really do is make house-arrest backfire more.

Both are completely different abilities - so it's hard to determine. It depends.
Both are quite good. SOS seems more powerful than Contact.

SOS - Helps take down BO
Contact - Helps form an alliance

Well, in the case of Townie/BO-lovers, slander might come in handy, but I think that's about the only time.
