I was really hoping not having to reveal too much information about myself, but I guess it is better than allowing the mistake of getting myself lynched...

So: Yes, I can prove I am town. Unfortunately it means I have to reveal that I am police.
To prove that I will try to arrest the murderer of Abs. I will probably fail since I have no clue who could have done it (I am open for suggestions, everyone!) but at least you all will then know I was telling the truth.

As I said, I don't have a suspect either, so I suggest everyone just does a random lynching - lynch who you think is BO, but don't tell anyone. That way the BO won't know who they should vote for and/or risk getting exposed if they gang up on someone.
Don't vote for me: As I said, I am going to prove that I am town so the only ones who would vote for me are BO trying to get rid of me.

I'm not sure what to do today. I find Schillok suspicious for basically the same reasons PhoenixTears does, along with the fact that xpon voted for him yesterday (they might have told him to vote a BO member). But as Schillok and PhoenixTears both already said, none of that is in any way conclusive; it's just suspicion.

The problem with the arrest attempt is that if this round works like the last couple of rounds, we won't know for sure if Schillok was the one who made the attempt. We'll just know that an arrest attempt was made by a police officer. And if there's a Vermouth in the game disguised as a police officer, the BO can just have her make the arrest attempt and Schillok can pretend he did it. It's also possible Schillok himself is Vermouth.

On the other hand, if we lynch him and he's town, we'll have five dead townies and one less police officer. And we'll feel all bad. So I don't know if we should lynch him or not.

The other thing is, the dream I had last night points to a couple of possible BO suspects. But I got a possible "true" result from someone besides those suspects (of course, this person could be BO, too. Or misinterpreting the hints. They weren't really cut-and-dry -_-). So lynching one of them, at least right now, wouldn't really be conclusive either. And introducing more lynch suspects today would give the BO a better chance to blend in or get a tie. I'm open to advice about that, though.

If we decide not to lynch Schillok today, and there's an Ai in the game, it might be worthwhile to follow him to see if he's Vermouth. And if there are DBs, they might want to see if he's Anokata.

To start right out, I have evidence that strongly suggests that Schillok is innocent. I'll post this first, evidence will follow right afterwards; I just want to avoid that someone lynches Schillok based on previous posts.

I did so and investigated whether Schillok investigated me. I got a "true". So, either Schillok investigated or used the Black Suitcase to do so. But there's even something more about the Black Suitcase: first, I didn't get in contact with Schillok before around 0:00 European time (from now on, all times are German army time), so the BO leader couldn't give him the Black Suitcase in advance. However, even if Schillok had got it anyway: This message was sent at 3:28. Day/Night change is at 6:00. So Schillok had to be on at some time between 3:28 and 6:00 to change his BS-action accordingly. However, he did talk with me at 1:06, so it's pretty unlikely that he woke up before 6:00. Of course, it might be he went to bed later than 3:28, but he did post here again at 9:20 and continued to post almost all of the German day until now. So, if he doesn't time his life after Mafia, it's pretty unlikely that he read my message and could still react - not to mention that he needed to have the BS to begin with (Vermouth is of course also a possibility, but I don't consider it very likely).
It also fits the image perfectly that he claims to be police, who can investigate, which also means he has no way of talking himself out if he's followed.

Therefore I'm pretty sure that he's town - and I haven't even mentioned the things that led me to contact him to begin with, which also point to him being town.

Also, as far as the elements of suspect that were mentioned until now are concerned, I strongly disagree. I don't think that these are points that show he's BO, especially the one concerning the contacts of the deads. The BO isn't that active. Also, these were the same points I had done as well (if I had been on), and as he was the only one doing this, it earned him a "Only Sane Man (N2)" in my notes, and I consider them to be a strong piece of evidence someone is not BO. He also received on on Night1, and this were also the main reasons I decided to contact him.
The only thing i can't understand is that he didn't mention me before (as the one who might prove his claim), and why he hasn't answered to the PM I send him almost 24 hours ago yet.

I see...so his having the Black Suitcase is unlikely. But is there any reason you think Schillok being Vermouth=police officer is unlikely? It's true that he would have no way to get out of it if Ai followed him today, but he's in a pretty bad situation right now and might need to take that chance. And that would explain his ability to investigate you. He could also be Gin (and have investigations) and have a Vermouth ready to do the arrest for him.

Or he's town and I'm thinking too much. Like I said, I'm not sure what I'm going to do today. But if we don't lynch him, what should we do? The random lynching idea Schillok had?

Tbh, I don't see the reason for talking in german (to make quoting harder at least) if both of you can just translate it anyway, aside from it maybe being quicker.

Also, I'd point out that aside from Vermouth, Gin also has investigation ability now, which was added since you left the game I think.

And as pofa said, you may not even be the police yourself, and could maybe get a vermouth to do it for you. Because it's the day phase right now, nobody can investigate if it's actually you doing it, and during the night you could black suitcase it, with vermouth doing the arrest for the in-thread effect.

So you just want us to abstain? Even if the BO doesn't vote for you, it'll probably be another townie that "randomly" dies.
