yes it means you are saying "the same" thing as the person you idem

EX:

someone who posted on page 500

idem

this means the person who posted idem is saying "someone who posted on page 500"

Idem does mean the same. Example:

Detective Motmy: Someone who plays mafia.
momenory: Idem DT.
Coian: Someone who has been BO.
ofpa: Idem Coian.

This conversation could also have been made like this:

Detective Motmy: Someone who plays mafia.
momenory: Someone who plays mafia.
Coian: Someone who had been BO.
ofpa: Someone who had been BO.
