1. We only knew there was a BO/town lover pair because Mr. Town decided to go "HEY GUYS I KNOW WHO YOU ARE AND BOY WON'T YOU BE SORRY IF YOU DON'T DO AS I SAY!"
2. We didn't know who the BO lover was.
Do the 2 points above help at all with "BO lover should be able to convince his BO buddies to kill someone else" ?

The answer is no.
hai haik haik.
it was my mistake
xpon is so cute...
Even Ayumi~chan and Sera~chan love to hug him.....
An idea a bit like the make out one, they could sometimes chose which house they are going to be in.
Example 1: Heiji and Shinichi is a couple. They decide to stay at Heijis house for the night. Random BO is going to kill Heiji, both die.
Example 2: Heiji and Shinichi is a couple. They decide to stay at Shinichis house for the night. Random BO is going to kill Heiji, no one is home, both survive.
And if they are at the wrong house the murderer could perhaps find a clue of the identities of the lovers. But I don't know as of what, or how this would deal with other night actions.
I prefer how the whole issue with lovers is at the moment.
Being lovers is already risky/hard enough, even when on the same side. A BO/BO lover pair (like we had one game) has no advantage - it is rather a risk for the BO to lose two of their members at once. Forcing the BO (and the lovers) to plot against each other as well would make things even harder for them. The town would not have a problem here, their goal is the same as before: Kill all BO. But the - now split up BO - would have to defeat town and their own members at the same time.
It is similar for an all-town lover pair. Beside the fact that they will both die at the same time if the BO decides to kill one of them they would also have to prolong the game as long as possible to reduce the number of town and BO as much as possible. At the same time they have no way to actively kill someone, everything depends on lynching. Beside... why would they want to kill everyone?!? They are on the same side as the rest of the townies, they want to stop the BO quickly, survive and return to their normal life (together).
I think it is fairly balanced (for a town-town pairing) at the moment: The risk of getting killed easier VS a sure ally right from the start.
As for a town-BO pairing: I also think they are fine the way they are now. First of all, they are quite rare, it won't happen often that a BO-town pair occurs (my guess is about once every 5 games). And then... I like the difficulty in trying to achieve a lovers victory. I think the groups with the highest number of players should have an easier time wining. I mean... if the lovers (only 2 players) win, then everyone else loses.
Beside: A lovers victory should be something special, especially in bigger rounds. Yes, it is very hard to pull it off. But think of the fame when you and your partner win against all odds...
PS: xpon, I think your strategy was wrong when you were in the town-BO pair. Telling the BO that you are a lover is a big mistake, because they will have to kill you at some point. Your best bet is to keep quiet and use your partner to divert the attention away from yourself. Not to expose yourself at the first chance...

I suggest that Agasa should be able to get his bow-tie and watch once per game.
This way, he can investigate something once and protect himself.
PhoenixTears said that he should probably only get one invention so he isn't overpowered.
But otherwise, he's only a supporting role.
Well, he is just a supporting role O.o Ran and makoto can't investigate either etc.
the only "problem" with agasa as I see it is that everyone wants to be the hero. Agasa gives the town the power of an additional detective and protector (given that he doesn't give them to a BO), so in some ways he's actually a better character than others. But just because he's not the one doing the actual investigating doesn't mean he needs anything more, imo.

Yes, but I think it's hard for Agasa to find an alliance.
Without an alliance, he could be giving the bow-tie and watch to BO everynight.
I think he should be given the bow-tie and watch once per game, to prove someone he can trust, and protect himself.
Limiting each invention once per game doesn't overpower him. He could be giving the BO the inventions every night...
