Mafia - Round 9 (Town wins!)

Day 2 ended

It's a very hot day. And people are tense and stressed. It's very loud on the streets. You can hear strange noises and people screaming.

"SCHLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND!" someone is screaming.
"BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!!" sound from another corner. Like a swarm of bees some soccer fans are rushing down the street with their vuvuzelas.

There is a familiar face in that mob of fans. It's Yamamura with his vuvuzela. He spotted another mob on the street. But instead of cheering that mob is angry and fighting each other.

In the middle of the mob, James Rye and Detective Tommy where fighting each other with their fists.
James Rye used a Shoryuken on Detective Tommy, but he missed. Tommy countered with a kick into his face and landed a critical hit!
Akonyl cheered for James Rye: "Go! Get him tiger!"
While Abs. shouted: "Go Detective Tommy! Beat him up!"

The fighting continued for some hours. Some people just watched while others cheered for either one of them.
The fight stopped after James Rye used a Hadoken and Detective Tommy  used a Round House Kick! Both got hit and collapsed because of exhaustion.

"BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ" Yamamura used his pink vuvuzela again.

Yamamura: "Ok guys! Stop fighting each other! Jeez. These hooligans these days. It's ok, even if your favorite team lost today, there will still be a next World Cup!"

Everyone: "..."

Yamamura: "Stop now or I'll use my vuvuzela again" *tries to use his vuvuzela again*

Everyone: "Ok ok... guess it's no use today. We have to calm down. It's late already anyway"

Everyone is about to leave. But suddenly Laurell collapsed screaming in pain! She's foaming out of her mouth and get's pale.

Yamamura: "Huh? What's wrong?"

Police Officer: "Ran (Laurell) suddenly collapsed! Stay away! ..... it's no use. Ran is already dead. We can't help her anymore. Seems like she was poisoned"

Yamamura: "How terrible! Huh? There is a strange note in her pocket."

I'm not too surprised at Laurell, as it seems like he gave out his role to a lot of people really early. In fact, it made me distrust him some, although I gave him advice when he asked for it. ^^

actually, I just got back, so I haven't read much of anything, but no, we're not going to have another round of that.

Because this is when my contingency plan pops up.

In case Detective Tommy was lynched and was a role other than James Black, I decided to check out if James Rye was James Black, so that if he was I could have a guaranteed trusty partner. Unfortunately, or fortunately (if you see it that way), he seems to be a BO instead.

James Rye is, in fact, not James Black. I stake my elementary school education on it.

Now, of course the BO could kill me now, or they could poison me, but that would only further my point, wouldn't it?

1) So you checked to see if he was BO. But you say he "seems" like it rather than he "is" which sounds like you aren't sure.
2) APTX can only be used during the day.
3) The BO will kill me, I'm going to investigate them.

I think all are based on our actual emotions during Day 2, and what we PM'ed him.


I did fall into despair. I lost all hope and thought I was going to die.
I even sent Kleene a will, explaining everything and all my actions for you guys.

Dude I don't know if this is a strategy thing that I don't understand but pretty suspicious if you ask me.  (Now that Sherry is gone) the only town roles I know of that can figure out if a person is or isn't a role, during the day time (because you didn't volunteer this information before the lynching), would be able to figure out exactly what role the person was.

I assume Akonyl asked if James Rye=James Black and got "no." It wouldn't give him the role James Rye actually is.
