Movie 5: Countdown to Heaven

vs.
Movie 6: The Phantom of Baker Street

The current bracket:

ps: there's no third place contest because it would be pointless to see SAtD get crushed.

Seriously, I don't get it. It was a generic (but very good) 2 part AO case with movie animation, OOC Haibara, Gin and Vodka doing nothing, and tons of explosions added in.
I think you just listed all the reasons why it should at least win over Phantom.kkslider5552000 wrote: We all know Countdown to Heaven will win for no reason, why bother? *sigh*

And Phantom was a much more generic AO rip off of a non case that's only twist was something that had been done in a previous movie, OOC setting (I mean super virtual reality? This isn't Magic Kaito). Yusaku solving a case (that was shown completely beforehand) and that honestly even the Detective Boys could have figured out. Toss in a underdeveloped premise, pretentious social commentary, and not enough scenes that make you think "Hey they are old London, Holmes time." Let's not forget that the only chance they ever had to put Conan and Holmes together working on a case and they just write him out of the whole thing.kkslider5552000 wrote: We all know Countdown to Heaven will win for no reason, why bother? *sigh*

Well, consider the competition...kkslider5552000 wrote: We all know Countdown to Heaven will win for no reason, why bother? *sigh*

I agree with you. Its surprising that these two ended up in the finals. Well, since Countdown won against Strategy, I'm voting for it...Mead wrote:Both of these movies I honestly think deserved to be eliminated in the first round, As I found them both to be sub-par. But Heaven is that kind of sub-par you don't mind since it's just got a lot of action.
agreed, these two are my least favourites, but I think they are better than 9-13.Mead wrote:
