It's a yaoi fangirl-pairing in a non-yaoi anime?

There are people who like that couple/pairing.

It doesn't mean I have to accept it.

I don't want to tell you to like yaoi or to like a specific pairing. But you shouldn't "mock" other peoples opinions, so you should "accept it". Even tho Cider added GinxAkai for fun, people that voted for it could be serious. You calling it not being serious would be equivalent to other people saying: "Girl19 isn't serious about voting AixCon or GinxSherry, she did it just for fun".
And since I know that you're not like that and that you didn't intended to "say it like that" is why I wanted to point that out to you.

You just porved me that you didn't get what I meant. I didn't mock anyone, I mocked the idea itself of believing in a yaoi pairing in a non-yaoi anime. And before someone gets this wrong, no, I'm not mocking the fact of loving/prefering yaoi pairings, I'm mocking the fact that some people think it has a chance in DC.
And what I meant in my previous posts is that I wanted to know people's thoughts about a more or less possible Gin pairing. Both GinxSherry and GinxVermouth are possible pairings in DC because:
1. There are some hints.
2. They're not yaoi.

Not really. DC is not just a mystery series. It actually has a plot and many, many non-yaoi pairings. And while Aoyama more likely won't make Gin end up with neither Sherry nor Vermouth (because he'll be sent to jail or dead anyway), at least it's possible that something may have happened in the past between him and Sherry.

And most yaoi/yuri parings aren't from yaoi/yuri mangas anyway.

I know, and that's what I still don't understand. I don't get why people want to fantasize about yaoi/yuri pairings in a non-yaoi/yuri anime, while there are tons of yaoi/yuri anime out there. And I'm not judging anyone, so don't get me wrong.

While it is true that we haven't seen a gay couple appear in the manga/anime yet, I would like to point out that one has already been explicitly mentioned (Agasa's childhood friend Haruo-kun x offscreen boyfriend, File 411 aka Volume 40 File 8 ).

AiCon and GinxSherry have hints, while GinxAkai doesn't.

The Gin x Akai hint is on page 14 of File 504 aka Volume 49 File 4.  First panel.  Hint: Sniping time!

• That the people who voted for Gin x Akai were all just screwing around.
• That Gin x Akai could never possibly happen.
• That the people who voted for Gin x Akai irresponsibly wasted their votes.

However!  Girl19 (and everyone!) is free to do as they please!  They may accept, or reject the opinions of others as they see fit.  You see, trouble only arises when one side shows and/or expresses clear disdain for the other side and/or the other side's opinions.

I believe Kleene may have been trying to warn Girl19 about how her comment may have been perceived as inflammatory.

GinxAkai also have:
1. Some hints. The "koibito" thing which can mean lover or enemy. I think that whole GinxAkai started because of that. Yeah, it's just a pun with words. But so is the Martini joke. But both could be interpreted to have a hidden meaning too.

Well, for me "must not diss it" is like "have to accept it". But that's my impression on the word "to accept". So guess we talk about the same :p And I also said that I didn't think you wanted to diss it. But that your post sounded like that which I wanted to point out ;p

Well, like said above, GinxAkai do have some "hints". Whether you count it as a hint or if you label it as a joke, is up to oneself.
A "ridiculous" pair would be a pair that never met each other and doesn't know the existence of each other. For example RanxKorn. But even then, people could be serious about that pairing.
Imo there is nothing wrong with hoping for you favorite pairing, even it it's ridiculous or a yaoi/yuri pairing, even in a non-yaoi/yuri anime.

GinxAkai also have hints. And I also think that some non-canon pairings have a better chance than other non-canon pairings.

I get it. I didn't want to sound rude or accuse you for calling people ridiculous. I even said that you didn't intend to do that, but that it "sounded like that". That's why I wanted to confirm it with asking you whether you really find it "not serious"/"ridiculous"

That's why I said "strictly". If you don't take it strictly, then it also has a lot of pairings. And it also has a lot of non-canon pairings made up by fans. So AkaixGin is a possible non-canon pairing too.

You just fantasize without intending to do so. You also like something first and when someone asks you why or you ask yourself why, then you look for some reasons. But liking something is not something "logical" but an emotion, so you also don't have to understand it.
