Although I'm not sure if this was used in past Mafia games...

I intended past actions to be investigateable, but you'd need to specify the point of time. So, like "Callid healed Akonyl on Night 1". But, of course, I'm not the GM...

Hm, really?  Because it seems to me that it would be too easy to figure out who was a BO member that way.  You could easily just ask about,
"Ctu killed XCommando on Night 1"
"Sakina killed XCommando on Night 1"
"Callid killed Xcommando on Night 1"
etc.

Since you already know who died it makes the police much much more powerful.  Over powerful if you ask me.  That's why when I was GM I told people that they could only search for events that happened during the night that they investigated.

Because he was the first one Ctu and I killed in the very first game.  There was no real reason, really.  I was just using him as an example.

Yep, at Central Park, Chekhov was the aim of the town. With torches and forks, everyone surrounded our dear Chekhov MacGuffin. People voted, and Chekhov was the one who had to sacrifice for the sake of the town.
Chekhov didn't move, he just stared at one person. Even when he was being prepared for the sacrifice, his eyes always stared at the same person. That look of betrayal was really easy to decipher.


After all, Chekhov, aka Shinichi, aka Vermouth, was burned to death.

Chekhov didn't move, he just stared at one person. Even when he was being prepared for the sacrifice, his eyes always stared at the same person. That look of betrayal was really easy to decipher.

"Look of betrayal" and "starring at one person"

So I thought, either that "look of betrayal" just meant, that Chekhov stopped playing. Or that one of the votes against him were from a "betrayer" thus, someone from the BO voted against him. And that's why he starred at that one person.

Another thing I noticed:

NIGHT 2.

Lynching time finally arrived! Or so we thought, cause no one was making wild accusations (T.T).
In a low voice, Ctu blamed Chekhov of suspicious behaviour, who just limited to keep thinking on its own things. No proof was presented to support Ctu idea...
nomemory was like trying to force his brains to magically deduct who the killer was. c-square lack conviction to show his reasoning. Callid expressed confusion with his face. Sebolains, the newcomer, seemed to had his final decision. Suddenly, Xcommando and Callid eyes met. Both eyes burned with passion for a second.

After several hours, the victim was decided: no one, aka nobody, was hung in front of all the presents. Yep. a tie!
Townsfolks went back to sleep. Confusing was installed in their minds...
Is there really bad guys killing people in this town? And what about that strange tape?
Shadow makes an enter. Day 1 has come to an end...

We know for sure, that Callid is in the BO. And Xcommando and Callid look at each other with "eyes burned with passion"
So both of them could be lovers, since it's possible to have 2 lover pairings:

Chooses one or two pairings (depending on the number of players) in the preparation phase. They become lovers, and either kills himself if the other dies. No protector can protect a lover from suicide and no healer can heal him/her afterwards.

Or Callid is Gin and Xcommando is Akai (like he claimed) and they have "eyes burned with passion" because they are rivals.

Well, I don't think they are lovers. I think Callid is Gin and Xcommando is Akai, and that's a clue to that (or no clue at all)
