well, i have been thinking a little, both vermouth and kitou kid has a connection like family members or may be brother and sister.

i mean they both has mastered disguising.
may be they thought that if vermouth work from inside and kid back her up, they could finish the BO. to avange their father (may be).
this explains why she is not evil and like conan ( or something like that)
this also explains that she might told the kid about conan being sienchee. may there are other stuff but oh well kid is not that good detective.

Yukiko Kudo told Shinichi that back then, she and Sharon Vineyard (Vermouth) both learned magic tricks from a famous magician.  Though she didn't say who their mentor was, his figure in the flashback looked like KID 1412. But at that time, Kaito Kuroba hasn't grown up yet, so I take it that it was Kaito's father - Toichi Kuroba, also the original KID 1412 - who taught both Sharon and Yukiko magic tricks.

Yukiko's skill is very close to Sharon's, too.

About VERMOUTH being evil or not : I really doubt she is, because it's been shown that she keeps Shinichi's secret from the rest of the B.O., and she showed some leniency toward children (right?).
So I'm waiting for Gosho Aoyama to reveal Vermouth's past life!

Well there's that episode where Conan is in first grade and meets the original Kaito, who tells Conan that he is his brother, later Conan realizes what he meant Because it was Yusaku who named him Kaito Kid.
At the end of that episode it is revealed that Kuroba Toichi is the one teaching Yukiko and not only that, but Yusaku also sends him a letter, implying that he Knew he was Kaito Kid, the only thing is that I don't know if that episode is based on the manga or if it's an anime original

1) Both know disguise skills
2) The "immortality" issue (unsure )
