I expect the results on this one may be skewed in one direction...

I'm like the biggest defender of 14 (well by that I mean, I enjoyed it as the stupid action movie it was) but in no way is it as good as 1.

I still haven't been able to force myself to watch 14 all the way through, so...

1, obviously.

I suspect those who chose 14 only did so because it has Kid in it.

I chose 14 because it has Haibara in it.

I had lots fun watching 14, it was like a comedy movie for me, but no way good as a DC movie, so also picked 1

I agree. I love Kid but movie 1 was amazing.

1 is a great movie, plus I really really really hated what Kid did at the end of Movie 14 so yeah.

Movie one, for one) it made my sister and I cry and 2) I recall an interview with Gosho saying it was canon...? (I'm not so sure about # 2.)

I heard it was supposed to be the end for Magic Kaito (obviously some parts were most likely changed to fit with DC).
