I thought Bethesda had said they were joking earlier and told parents specifically to not name their kids Dovahkiin, but looks like someone did it anyway :-X
Are you playing it on PS3? Unfortunately, Bethesda, already having a bad reputation for having one of the worst QA teams known to existence as a big-named developer, also suck at coding for PS3.GinRei wrote: I think I'm doing something wrong, as I just can't seem to get into this game. I haven't played much, but it's really not grabbing me at all. Part of it may be how often it lags, causing quite a bit of frustration.
Actually playing on the PC after reading that the PS3 version becomes unplayable after playing for a while due to the memory leak. I just got to Whiterun, and only level 3, but really not feeling the urge to keep going.ranger wrote: Are you playing it on PS3? That's pretty awesome, I prefer the killable children mod though. After I kill a dragon, a kid goes up to the corpse and says something like "In all my years I have never seen such a thing!"Akonyl wrote: some of the caves etc can be pretty lacking in enemies, but you'll also stumble onto some caves with a lot more. Also, yeah for the most part you're not gonna find much to fight "in the wild" (except maybe bears and sabretooths), you're much likely to find stuff to kill at locations that show up on the compass, whether it's a mine/cave/mammoth+giant partyland or whatever. Also, try getting quests from people so that locations are actually put on your map, to let you better gauge how far away they are / the fact that the location's on the opposite side of a mountain or whatever.
PS: This is the best mod ever to anyone who's playing on PC:
