It's like any regular day on Teitan Elementary School. The sun is shining brightly into the classroom from the windows, some Birds chirp, the sound of children laugh, a group of boys telling the TV show they watch last night, footsteps echo in the corridor.

Not pay attention to his surrounding, Conan Edogawa sit alone on his desk and quietly watching the breaking news on his phone cell. Suddenly he stops looking at the cell phone and start watching in all directions, clearly looking for someone or something that gave his an uneasy feeling.

“What? Looking for me?â€

A shrunken!Heiji?  That sounds fun.  I wonder what did he do this time?

Conan woke up at 5 am. Still sleepy but because he got the cleaning duty this week then he must arrive at school before 6:30am. He walks pass uncle Kogoro, who still sleeping and murmuring “Yo~ko-chanâ€

It’s lunch time at Teitan Elementary School. On the southeast corner of the classroom, 6 children gather around. Ayumi Yoshida, Mitsuhiko Tsuburaya, Genta Kojima, Ai Haibara, Conan Edogawa and Heiji Hattori. They all looking at the table were a piece of paper lying on it.  The paper are not blank instead there are pictures in it, almost like a secret code. The Detective Boys, also known as Shonen Tantei-dan sure that this code is meant to be found and solve by them. The code came inside an envelope with To: Shonen Tantei-dan written in English on it.

The envelope was given to Ayumi by some janitor in the hallway just before the lunch break starts when she go to take some stuff from the teacher lounge. The janitor said that the envelope was found lying in the hallway. And he decides to give it to Ayumi instead of throwing it off. After read what was written inside it, Conan and Heiji immediately search for that janitor, but they cant found him anywhere in the school. Not in the backyard, hallway, classroom or even in the janitor post. The janitor must be a fraud. The only grown up person in Teitan Elementary School who knows they are Shonen Tantei-dan is Kobayashi sensei.

The Paper inside the envelope just contains pictures of some man with different pose and some of them holding flag. The two Chiisana Tantei-kun (Small Detective) –Conan and Heiji– understand immediately that the pictures are similar with one case from the World Most Famous Fictional Detective Story, Sherlock Holmes - The Dancing Man Case. But the most shocking thing they found out is the picture at the bottom, is it real or not? No one knows for sure.

Because Neither Ayumi, Mitsuhiko, Genta nor Haibara knows the meaning of The Dancing Man code, Conan write the translate version on another piece of paper. Heiji, whom doesn’t memorize all the code can only sit and watch his rival do the deciphering.

“Hey Hattori, don’t just sit there and starring at me! Give me a hand will youâ€

The afternoon class is almost over. Hattori Heiji stares through the window, watching leaves falling down. Time pass really slowly for him, almost like that the clock stop moving. He already forgot how many times he checks his watch or the clock in the wall, just to found that he still have to endure another 40 minutes of this Elementary Lessons.

“Add another hour of this boring lessons and I’ll go back to Osaka right away.â€

“Genta-kun, where have you been?â€

In the Kitchen, The Shonen Tantei-dan search for every possible clue, hint or message. Heiji look for the drawer, Ayumi look at the stove, while Genta holds the chair for Mitsuhiko so he can search the upper part.

Conan stand still and racking his detective brain to crack more hint from that code. After repeating the whole message a couple of times, he finally got some clue. “Hey guys, I think I know where to search the next Message.â€

The Shonen Tantei-dan run pass the corridor, and down to the first floor with Conan as the leader. They all run to the next place according to the code.

Even though Heiji told that the forth message is not a riddle anymore, because the answer is already been written in that code. Neither Ayumi, Genta nor Mitsuhiko understand the code. So they just follow where Conan headed to.

Not so long, they all came to the first floor where the shoe lockers are. Stopping for only a moment, Conan walks pass those lockers and stop in front of a coin changer machine. This machine will give you coins that you can use in the vending machine or for others purpose you want.

“Is it there… is it really this Machine?â€

Heiji and Conan arrive in Teitan High School. They walk passes the front yard straight toward to the gymnasium. The watch in Heiji hand shows 5:30. Don’t know if it was just a coincident, but there is no student! No student in the front yard, no one in back yard nor classroom and not even in the club activity room! Teitan High is just like an abandon building!

Conan can’t hide his nervousness. There should be some people here. He already had the excuse if anybody asks, what two elementary student do in Teitan High.

“Oi Kudo. Does your school know something called ‘Club Activity’?â€
