In my opinion, Ai is a very mysterious character,i think she knows more than she tells conan or agasa..maybe about the organisation? I dont know, but she is different, thats why a lot of people like her.
I like the relationship between her and agasa.. they are like father and doughter . And its cool that she stays with him, so he isnt alone at all.
I also think that she is maybe the most beautiful girl in this anime and manga. But I prefer Shiho than Ai, I dont know why .

And you know that would make a good horror movie *The good twin (of Rellik)*. The plot? Someone (who´s not that nice) disappears, another who looks exactly the same shows up, but he´s a totally saint. And cause of his actions the others around him starts killing each other.
We should be careful now...
