Here are text spoilers, courtesy of BK 201, Mera, NightBaron and CG (these and the spoiler pic translations will only be put in spoiler boxes to reduce the size of this post):
And here are spoiler pic translations:
But we have Andre actually getting shot in the chest (seems to me that Team Shinichi/Conan was hoping the shot—and from Kir, not Chianti—would be near the head so Andre could use the fake blood dispersal tech in his headwear to do the Shūichi fake death trick again). Unlike with Shūichi's fake death, the shooter's intent (Chianti's intent) was to kill/mortally wound—her shot would have to miss, and Andre would have to be wearing movie SFX gear underneath his sweater to dispense a ton of fake blood, and it doesn't seem either of those things are the case.
Considering where Andre is (and how much distance that puts between him and the medical care he desperately needs), and that he seems to be truly bleeding from the mouth (unlike Shūichi), even if Shūichi and Shinichi/Conan can rescue him from the BO, they'd have to get him to the hospital, and even if they somehow did really quickly, it still might not be enough to save him.
In other words, we either have a real chance, here, of a character death (at least, the highest chance of it we've had in a while)... or we're going to come away with the worn observation that Goshō really likes the status quo.
Spoiler:
Spoiler:
A fair assumption, if it's primarily based on, "unless it's for a backstory, Goshō won't kill any recurring character", which has panned out as a solid assumption for quite some time.vaibhavgupte wrote: ↑November 27th, 2020, 6:47 amafter seeing spoilers of 1065 does anyone still believe camel is alive co i do believe he is still alive. what are your views on it

Re: Discussion Thread: Detective Conan 1,061-106X
We haven't established why Akai and Conan are out there on the bridge sniping, but if they think hey can snipe off some BO member, then Gin would know that Shuichi is potentially alive because no one snipes like him so far in the story. The only reason they are there is because there is a way to save him. Yet again, it is only Akai and Conan, so there will definitely be some secrets involved.
Additionally, I have questions about what Vodka says about Rum. How does that add to what we know? For whose benefit is that supposed to be? Is it that Conan didn't tell Akai about Rum's description? After all the conspiring together with Bourbon and even Yusaku, I highly doubt that's the case. So why is this piece of information shared again now? Also, if those decriptions of Rum are lies to conceal Rum, then Rum is neither a bulky guy (rules out Kuroda IMO), nor an effeminate man (technically Rum could still be a woman, so Rumi is still very much in play), nor an old man (I'm unsure if Kannenori is old enough to be called old?)
I reread the chapter of Akai's death, and it seems that Kir shot Akai in his lung at that time, and there was blood that came out of his mouth back then. Only upon insistence from Gin was the shot in the head also fired. The situation is a bit too similar to Akai's to be true. Especially considering the same gadget is involved. I want to wait for further spoiler pics before I jump to whether Chianti actually shot him or not. It could very well be Akai on the bridge in a similar angle to Chianti. Maybe Agasa improved his gadget to create something that exploded blood when triggered.
Maybe I'm just clinging to straws because I want Camel to live somehow, but remember how disappointed we felt when we thought Akai died? Only to be revealed eons later he is alive?

No, because relatively quickly various people pieced together that Akai was alive and disguising as OkiyaUnlucky Devil wrote: ↑November 28th, 2020, 4:59 ambut remember how disappointed we felt when we thought Akai died? Only to be revealed eons later he is alive?

I mentioned it in the cbox, but isn't Camel supposed to be appearing in movie 24? I honestly doubt Gosho would kill off a character that's supposed to show up in the movie that's a few months from now, even if said movie was delayed.
Actually, I honestly doubt Gosho would kill off a character, period. (a good recurring character, I mean).

Well if Rumi was wearing a mask then that could have also covered up the artificial eye and Wakita's eye patch also covers up an artificial eye obviously...Spoiler:![]()

Movie 24 was pushed back because of covid. It was supposed to be released in April of this year so that doesn't really count.Kor wrote: ↑November 28th, 2020, 5:36 amI mentioned it in the cbox, but isn't Camel supposed to be appearing in movie 24? With such precedent, odds are pretty good Andre makes it through this, generally speaking.
Specifically, the issue is...
Alternatively, they could plan for her shot hitting Andre with a flak jacket-like invention, and have Shūichi's shot hit simultaneously to trigger the fake blood dispensing invention. In any case, Shūichi set up to snipe is part of the plan.DCUniverseAficionado wrote: ↑November 28th, 2020, 12:15 amThe only way around any of this is if they planned for all of this and had Andre wear a fake blood dispensing invention under his clothes before he even went out there and started getting pursued by the BO... and again, Chianti would have to miss—they'd need some way of making her miss, because I don't think they'd just throw their hands up and say, "oh, well... we sure hope she'll miss!"

I think having a real death in Conan's history would be good
It gives mode credit to the organisation..
I'm thinking that we will se real Rum's face in the next case, not him with the disguise.

Here's a full translation of 1,065 (be advised, though, this is an Arabic to English translation, so the two tiers of translation may lead to more errors/mistranslations than there would be with a Japanese to English translation):
(Contained within spoiler box to shorten length of post)
With this, I'd say Andre's odds of making it through this just went up.

Re: Discussion Thread: Detective Conan 1,061-106X
Here are several guesses on what might happen next:
Camel will live, so I'm basing my guesses based on that.
Option 1: They get a good look at Camel's face and thus Kir's in trouble.
Option 2: They want to take a good look, but then Akai shoots them and makes them flee. This in turn makes Gin suspicious because he may think only Akai could make these shots. I think Conan's saying it's 1334.2 yards distance, which is even farther than Akai's shots back in ep 425 if I recall correctly. So with this option either Gin becomes suspicious right away and Kir will be in trouble, or Gin will consider the possibility but won't immediately act upon it. (Although since now Rum is doing most of the thinking for the BO, maybe it'll be Rum who becomes suspicious)
Option 3: They don't get to take a good look at Camel's face, they leave and they learn nothing, back to status quo, everyone's safe.
Those guesses aside, I'd like to hope for some more bits of info about Rum. Not expecting anything major, though. Also I'd like to hope this ends on this sort of cliffhanger that has to be immediately followed up on in the next case (we'll still be in vol 100, so...), but it's DC so a direct continuation may only happen when we're chapter 1100.

Yeah, that's around double his roughly 700 yard/640.08 meter range from Black Impact (499–504/425).
If 1,066 is a true conclusion (and there'll be no immediate continuation next case), then there's a lot to wrap up in just 16 pages after the 1,065 cliffhanger. At least 1 page will need to address how Andre survived (i.e., how he used the printer mentioned by Shūichi in 1,065). The intent of this plan can't be for him to just lay there playing dead, since that means 1) Korn will see his face and 2) there'll be nothing stopping Gin putting a bullet in Andre's head for good measure (or ordering Kir to do it). After getting away from the BO, Andre will then have to make it to Shinichi/Conan and Shūichi/Subaru, and they will all then have to escape the area. And this doesn't even get into whether Korn will see Andre's face or not (and what potential complications/subversions may result).
And Volume 100 has been nothing but this BO thread so far, so it'd be nice consistency if the last file of the volume (File 1,069) still followed this thread. Well, even if this case doesn't continue into the next one like the previous case and this case did, 1,067 will at least have some reference to 1,061–1,066.
