Well if your not willing to look past the no romanticness that hasn't occured yet then I guess showing you would be pointless...but still can say the same with ShinRan...I mean they are not a couple yet...can still speculate and theorize how their relationship would be just like Ai and Conan.
Do you really think Shinichi and Ran would be a better couple? I mean getting past the love part because just because they love each other doesn't make their relationship any better it takes personality, characterestics, how they are together, etc.
If you are willing to do that then we can compare Ai and Conan to boring Shinichi and Ran

No, you are clear on your point.
However, I did not say that ShinRan is the better couple, what I'm trying to say that they are the inevitable couple as things are now (unless Gosho clears things up e.g. what Ai really feels, or change something e.g. kill Ran). Personally, if I may say so myself, AiCon is better.

It's all Gosho's fault,Ran was ok at the begining but he made her more and more annoying and girl-ish
about Aixconan...yeah there were many cute moments in the past ,and I'm sure she was in love with him...but now it's as if she gave up on him...she just admire ,she may consider him as her bestfriend,and of course she hides behind him when okiya is close
