that's still my response to this neverending debate

Oh my Gosho! kksandsoon-san just had found the answer to the endless debate between Aicon and Ranichi-fans... *gets interrupted by another DC-fan*

Another Fan: "Are you insane? HeijixKazuha is the best one and only couple in DC!"
Another another Fan:"You drunk? KaitoxAoko is the best of the west, i tell you!"
Another another another Fan: "You all shaddup! ConanxAyumi is the sweetest and the best couple in DC!"
The other two Fans:"HELL NO!"

hmm,  i support this couple since i was 14(know I'm 19)so after all this time(and all the episodes centered on shinran) it's normal to lose a bit of hope to see them together(but i still have few hopes for them)
the fact is that some people like me don't want to be disappointed in the end if their hopes fall in pieces!so we prefer to be realist

I support it since i´m 13 (and now i´m 20^^°); there were times when i thought it would be fifty:fifty, but right now it´s just a one digit % posiblitie for me, maybe that will change when Gosho decides to tease his readers again with one or two sweet or touching Aicon-moments.  :P

Don't know about losing hope but you'll probably see a spike in other AixConan fans if we get more scenes like The Missing Watch Case where Conan in a serious moment with Haibara says "I never want to see her cry anymore...even if it means I no longer exist in her heart." about Ran. Scenes like that make you feel like the series it taking a turn and it isn't just on rails for RanxShinichi(even if this means he's just going to be alone). With more moments like that you'll see less people acting like realist, but I wouldn't mind a RanxShinichi ending as it opens the door for my other idea from another topic:

Maybe they should do a 10 years later DC where Shinichi is a free lance detective living in his house with Ran (married of course) and they're differences start hilarious fights which ends up with Shinichi getting kicked out of the house. Of course he goes next door to stay at Agasa's..where Haibara(she takes the cure also) lives and Agasa is usually out traveling the world with his first love(yep they got together) so this leads to more hilarious scenes of Ran(after listening to Sonoko) believes Shinichi is cheating on her and goes to spy on him.

It's kind of interesting that Ai x Conan is the pairing people like the second best. And there're just 9 votes between Ran x Shinichi and Ai x Conan, really cool

seriously ,i could imagine ai only with conan or okiya(if she has to be paired with someone) but i think that she's so great that she doesn't need to be in couple at any cost ,in order to be interesting!

True .  ;D she doesnt need anbody 2 be intersting , but throwing in more spices in the story wont harm anybody  ;D

ok im sorry for going off on you but i dont think its 99% possiblity that they wont..much lower and i know it wouldnt be fair if she ended up alone but i doubt they will say whats gunna happen to them in the next 20 years or so..so it would be easy for me to say that she shouldnt be with anyone other than conan/shinichi and i have high hopes that they will get together but it seems that im the only one even among aiX conan fans i feel that you guys gave up hope

haha true . every1 thinks the couple they choose is the best couple. but the truth is we r different poeple with different opinions  ;)

and if ai ended up with Mitsuhiko  Roll Eyes , i'll murder some1 *Muhahahaha* and then shinichi will find out im the murderer , the sad music goes on as usual , and i'll be crying  Cry , and would say : it's all your fault great metantei shinichi , its all your fault , why didnt u end up with Ai , WHY WHY ?!  Cry Tongue , THEN takagi comes and put the cuffs in my hands , ill smile and tell takagi , " im glad u ended up with sato and not ur "childhood friend!""

lol ! ya , its been a long time since the culprit went insane after being arrested, but i dont think ull see this episode, because the person i murderd will propably be u !  :P , joking joking, ill never murder some1  ;D , and lol id love to see the after 10 year DC , ran spying on shinichi , hmm that's intersting, and in wiki i read that sonoko tells ran that shinichi is propably hanging with a red haired girl , which is half true because he hangs out with haibara but nothing romantic , does any1 know which episode or chapter that is ? or is it one of wiki's lies ?!

It's an old thread, so I can't really remember the name. But if it makes you feel better it was just your typical Ran & Haibara thread like this one (simple theory/question, then an argument, then everyone is happy again joking around) not a FF thread.

That thread is in the Story Discussion board(probably on page 3 or 4). A lot of nice crazy theories in there from "Akemi is actually the boss while the Akemi that died was a fake" to "Yusaku is Okiya because of..."

To my knowledge this episode hasn't been subbed but it's in Volume 33 of the manga. Vol.33 chps. 7-8.

I don't know...is there even enough evidence to throw up a Chianti + Calvados?
We can assume Chianti liked him, but it could of been an older brother love and then there's Calvados. He probably liked Vermouth over Chianti or he wouldn't of agreed to her plan(assuming Chianti was against it from the start). Yeah, there probably was some high school drama in the B.O. when those three where around.
