Are there ONLY Rocks around him or as far as the eye can see? That means, is there anything else?

Just rocks. Rocks and stones and some rocks... And the B person. Actually there is some big thing around but saying what it is would totally spoil the riddle.

Let's say it that way - if I say what that is, you'll guess right away what the cause of A's death was. But the thing was not the cause of the death itself. Also, after coming up with the answer, you'll surely know what must've been there.

If that is the fact is has to be Green Kryptonite because that is the only thing that can kill Superman and the hole in his costume wouldn't matter anyway.
