It's like what I said a while back. Why is it that Ran is suppose to be this bishoujo but there are no guys after her? It's because Shinichi/Conan killed them all/shipped them off to America and has the brains to get away with it.

I still haven't figured out if Ran really is supposed to be bishojo. Ran is also allegedly a clone of Aoko, who is explicitly not supposed to be particularly attractive according to other characters in MK. Even Sonoko doesn't try to flatter Ran about her looks when Ran is feeling inferior to Asami. About the only thing reliable is that Ran is supposed to have developed hips while Aoko isn't. The rest of the stuff is from: horny teenager fetishists, one of whom was also after Sonoko while the other was just as plausibly thinking that he didn't want to piss off Sonoko's sister as he was that Ran was actually the better looking of the two teens; A child who seemed to prefer Sonoko after all when he could compare them in swimsuits; A girly-boy teen who was probably just happy something female who wasn't his mother or sister actually bothered to remember his given name; An old family friend who was probably just as patronizing as everyone's family friend/visiting relatives tend to be with their "my how you've grown" lines. Anything I'm missing?
